The man who works there is rude and don’t need to be in front of customers. use a different location if you want customer service. Didn’t even want the food

Was not greeted when I came in the door. After I started picking up chips for my order, the woman said “how can I help you”, no hello, no smile. I told her I’m picking up my order. So she just started making the sandwich, then says, “we don’t have herb and cheese bread. At all.” No sorry, no nothing. I was a bit confused because the bread should technically be made and done in the morning before customers come in. I said it was okay, I’ll get white bread. Then she got an attitude when I asked for oil and vinegar on the side. Finally, when I went to pay for the chips, I tried to scan my loyalty card and she said “it don’t work”. I feel like if you don’t want to work, DON’T COME IN. You are the face of the company and to act like YOUR customer is bothering you, it is unacceptable. I wanted to just get a refund but I already paid in the app and she probably would’ve given me a hard time about that. Never again and I will inform others to not come to this location as well.

I'm visiting NJ for work and I Doordashed from this location. To whoever made my food, I want you to know, my job is hiring, because CLEARLY, you are miserable in your current position. I'm not going to waste a prayer on you, but I hope there is somebody in the world that cares about you, and I hope you get better.

The two women are always extremley rude and have attitudes. No hello they just stare at your blankly and act like you’re inconveniencing them by order a sandwich. And I try VERY hard to be kind and polite and they remain rude. Never going back

I came into this subway in Maplewood NJ one morning recently.. Two associates were preparing about 6 or 7 sandwiches as i could see. No other customers were in there. I waited patiently. When i tell you i waited approximately 25 minutes without any acknowledgement from them. No hello, we will be with you soon.. not a word. They wouldnt even make eye contact with me.. I then asked are you open? One of the associates said rudely "We have a big order!!" i replied but you have not acknowledged me the whole time i was in the store. didnt say we'll be with you soon.. thank you for waiting .. NOTHING. I took my business elsewhere and i in fact also had a big order.

Poor attitudes with both women . They don’t smile nor greet you when you walk in. I ordered my sandwich due t hypoglycemia I needed t eat asap and I needed to use the restroom. I was told that the bathroom was broken. I was so desperate to relive myself I asked if I could use the mens room. The little woman in front told me they only have one restroom in the entire store an it’s broken. I said where do you use the facilities? This woman said nothing. Refuse to answer me instead she post the diner across the street indicating for me to ask to use it. They want you to pay $10 for a half if sandwiche but refuse you to use their restroom. I am calling cooperate in the morning to report this nonsense . The attitude and lack of enthusiasm is enough for me to never return. And denying someone to use the restroom especially a paying person is disgusting and I abhor that type of business!! NEVER will I spend my obey at that location PERIOD!!!

This location continues to be terrible. I haven’t patronized this location in years due to the horrible service and years later absolutely nothing has changed. This includes the extremely large woman whose life must be completely miserable because her personality reflects it. Don’t bother saying hello as you enter because she will stare at you and say nothing. We actually asked for pepper to be added to a sandwich and was told the sandwich didn’t include pepper so they couldn’t add it. WHAT?? We ordered the same sandwich everyday for a week. Everyday the sandwich tasted nothing like the day before. We had coupons for discounted sandwiches or free items which of course they said they didn’t except. Now we go to the Subway in Millburn. Guess what they except the coupons, add whatever condiment you like, the taste is consistent and they say hello as you enter. Stay away from this location. You’ll regret it!

What has happened to the customer service and Integrity??I visited this location recently To pick up a sandwich for my dinner .it was a Sunday evening and the sign on the door clearly stated the establishment would be open until 9 PMwhen I arrived it was 7:15pmAlthough the door was unlocked I could see the gentleman inside mopping the floor.I opened the door and he was adamant about the fact that the store was already closed for the nightI showed him the sign on the door which read 9 PM as the closing timehe shook his head and adamantly exclaimed that the owner told him it was OK to close at 7 PM insteadSubway is a national food chain however some of these local franchisers have destroyed the integrity of the company name and are creating a very negative image because of their lack of morals and decency.He provided no explanation as to why the restaurant was closing 2 hours early aside from the fact that the owner said it was OKthis is not OK !and if you are going to represent a national food chain you cannot use mom and pop store Tendencies!!

Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options have become horrific over the last 3 years yet they're charging more & more.

Worker was rude from the moment he started the order. Asked to not add tomatoes to one sandwich and he told me that’s not possible because the sandwich is built a certain way. Which I get it’s a sandwich with instructions but you’re building the sandwich right in front of my face..you can literally just skip the tomatoes. Definitely won’t return to this location.
