“There are so many bagel choices here. My girls love the chocolate chip bagel. The wife and I like to get the cinnamon raisin and the plain bagel. I did not check to see if they had it this time, but the jalapeño and cheese bagel is also a good choice. Service is great! The lines run smoothly and in an orderly manner. The shop is nice and homey. Also they have a gluten free option.“

“Ordered my thanksgiving deserts from Sasscer's this year. Home run ! The pumpkin cheesecake was heavenly. The coconut custard pie was also a big hit with everyone. My go to favorite here is the bagged chocolate chip cookies. They are thin and crispy just the way I like them. Give Sasscer's a try you won't regret it. Ps The owners are very friendly and always give good suggestions.“
“Having grown up just a couple of blocks from Positively, I would have been in this place every day if it was around back then. It has a nostalgic feel that’s very comforting. Very fitting name! Great, relaxing, quiet atmosphere with a hint of some Grateful Dead jams playing in the distance. I love all of the plants and artwork. Great friendly service and delicious coffee too. Didn’t eat anything this time but I’ll be back.“
“I AM NOT EVEN JOKING THIS IS MY HEAVEN. The whole fam loves this little cafe. We go weekly just to get a taste of heaven. The food is litterly beyond amazing. We reccomend avocado toast, any ice cream or milkshakes, beachbums, or any coffee specials. I would give the atmosphere a 7/5 if I could, because HO-LY it's just the cutest in here. On occasion, they have live music, a very talented man who takes requests and even plays Taylor swift. The service is decent, but it can get a bit slow when the place is really packed. There are bike racks, a whole parking lot, and tables outside too. Go here. Please. You. Will. Not. Be. Disapointed.❤“
“First time coming across this gem. Came in as they were closing, grabbed a slice of cheesecake & cannoli. Both were phenomenal!!! As may girlfriend and I were outside eating our desserts, the man (I’m assuming the owner, I didn’t catch his name)was closing up shop and gave us a loaf of seeded bread, which was also terrific.. What a wonderful gesture. I can’t wait to go back the next time I’m in OC, they’ve gained a customer for life.“
“Mallon's Sticky Buns are delicious! They are baked perfectly. The caramel like sauce all over and in between. Just the right amount of raisins and nuts. Mine arrived in two days. Sometimes they are still warm when they arrive but they are, always, packed very well. If you happen to be in NJ where their stores are when you walk in the staff is very nice, the store is very clean and the smells of the sticky buns, crumb cakes, donuts are heavenly. I wrapped the left overs in wax paper. I have found they taste the best when reheated in the microwave and don't forget the butter. Enjoy!“

“I was in search of a local bakery near work and found a few, but none were open early enough to help me on my quest for donuts @ 6 am for work. So, I decided to pop in Chester's and see what they had to offer. I was pleasantly surprised to see an array of donuts that looked really good in the display cases. It was hard for me to choose some of the options bc there were plenty. I asked for 2 dozen and the kind young lady who greeted me held my hand as she walked me through the options. There were Boston Cream, Chocolate Glazed, Regular Glazed, Chocolate Frosted Cinnamon Bun, Apple Filled, Jelly Filled, Vanilla with Sprinkles, Chocolate with Sprinkles, Cinnamon, etc. I tried to get as many as I could. The young lady rang me up and taped the boxes. I paid $50 and left a tip. She was happy and so was I. Off to work I went with my donuts. When I arrived, people almost ran me over to grab donuts from the boxes. Everyone was happy with the choices. There's nothing like FRESH donuts that are made by a bakery (yea, I think you can tell I am not a Dunkin Donuts type of girl, lol).“

“I ordered a custom cake for a dinner party. The cake turned out perfect. I contacted Monika, the pastry chef and showed her what I wanted the cake to look like. She quickly gave me pricing and size options. I picked up some cupcakes from the storefront to try a few cake flavors and icings. We decided on a chocolate chip cake with cannoli filling. The cake was beautiful and delicious! I’m still thinking about it. My guests loved the cake as well. The whole process was easy and I would highly recommend if you are looking for a special dessert.“
“Great stop on the way to Atlantic City! There's free parking across the street, and even though they close at 8pm, when we walked in at 7:30 and offered to get our paella (which was pretty yummy) to go- they insisted we stayed and we even say two couples walk get seated at 8pm.“
“What a beautiful small business coffee shop! I visit Beach Buns every time I have an appointment at Anchor Day Spa which is right above the coffee shop. The staff at Beach Buns are so kind and their coffee and bakery items are delicious! Today I ordered an iced caramel latte with a piece of their banana cake iced with spiced cream cheese frosting. Incredible!! Starbucks is nothing compared to this place! If you’re in Northfield make sure to check this place out!“
“So many visitors to Atlantic City come to this block to visit White House Subs and miss out on the actual best landmark on the block that is Formica Bros Bakery right across the street. The bakery that creates the bread which is the real star of those famous sandwiches. Everything i have ever gotten from this tiny cafe and bakery is outstanding including the bread, pastries and baked goods and chocolate covered delights as well as their cannolis and tomato pie slices. The tomato pie actually deserves its own sentence to acknowledge how great it is; the bread and crust have a great crunch consistency and chew in all the right places and the sauce is exceptionally well balanced no too sweet and not too tart. just right and rivals any u will find in Philly or South Jersey. I also enjoy and the different sweet bread breakfast loaves and muffins. They also have several cakes that i have never tried but based on all my other experiences would no think twice about getting if need for a special occasion. Lastly I must say they make some of the best non chain store coffees, espressos and lattes i have ever had anywhere in the country and are a must pickup whenever i am driving by and need a quick pick me up for the ride home to PA. The staff is extra friendly and quick to help u pick the best item for your needs. And for such a small store it is incredibly comfortable, clean and well laid out to fit a whole lot of food and a few tables looking out onto Arctic Ave. Love these old authentic independent stores and will always be a visitor as long as we both are around.“

The food and pastries are the BEST and they often offer gluten/free and vegan options.The coffee is always delicious and they have unique add-ins (ghee, bee pollen, turmeric honey).Some of my favorite pastries include the morning cookie, lavender shortbread, and Hungarian shortbread... but literally everything is good and fresh.It gets super crowded during tourist season and parking can be impossible, so it's a good idea to go in early. Alternatively, come with a sacrificial friend and force them to drive around the block until you're done ordering.“

“This place is awesome...went to buy desserts to bring to a friend for a Xmas party and was blown away by the selection of gorgeous cakes also cookies, chocolate pretzels etc. I saw person after person walking out with gorgeous antipasto and mediterranean trays. We bought huge slices of chocolate layer, rainbow, carrot, and cherry cheese cake. All were fab (tasted all of them). Also mini/cannoli! That had to be best cheesecake we ever had! Everyone loved those cakes! I also saw nice selection of complete and varied sizes of layer and birthday cakes! If you are in Ventnor or Margate no need to look elsewhere for great bakery or Italian deli and great baked breads. Prices are good too. Great value for this high quality.“
