Sunrise Tequila Bar & Rooftop Lounge

Food was okay, but absolutely horrible service. Our food came out before our drinks, we had to ask where our drinks were. Also, we had to ask server to refill waters. She didn’t ask if I wanted a soda refill either. Then to top it off our appetizer came out at the same time as our entrees. I was looking forward to having a great night, but after spending over $200 for bad service I’d say go elsewhere.

Went on a Sunday afternoon and everything was great…server was very nice, food was delicious, and enjoyed the vibe. We sat upstairs at a high top table (not too high) and it was so bright and airy…lots of windows which were open since it was a nice day. They have a large bar area upstairs and had live music but even with that it wasn’t too loud. The downstairs area looks really nice too. They have an elevator for those who can’t take the steps. If you go before 2pm you can order from the brunch menu as well as the regular menu which provides a lot of options. I liked how the gluten free items were marked on the menu and that there were more options than just salad! The GF elote pizza was amazing and the crust was so good I had to check to make sure it really was GF lol!

Had apps, the tacos, salmon, and chicken parm. Really good food, drinks were great, and service was SPOT ON. Everyone had smiles on their faces which is reason enough to come back. Our waitress was Hannah. Plates could range from $20 to higher.

Had a great experience at Sunrise Tequila Bar! The food and drinks were awesome, the atmosphere was fun, and the service was top tier. Leticia was absolutely amazing — super friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. She gave great recommendations and made us feel welcomed the entire time. Definitely will be back and will be asking for Leticia again!

I was so excited to go here as I’ve seen it on instagram and it looked beautiful and the vibes looked fantastic. It was beautiful inside, but the service was absolutely terrible! The servers were rude and not attentive. Way too expensive for what it is. Waited 20+ minutes for a drink that cost $20. We didn’t even finish our dinner, we had drinks and an app and left. Highly disappointed!! It’s a shame the place is beautiful but service isn’t there. Wouldn’t recommend.

First time back since the opening last summer. They have happy hour all night, and bartender/server Kyle hooked it up with excellent classic margaritas & great service. We got the birria tacos, deconstructed elote dip, and tuna carpaccio. All delicious, no complaints. Ended the night with the cookie skillet. Can't wait to go back for the rooftop in the summer!

Really great Happy Hour! We sat at the bar and the bartender, Kyle, made strong and excellent house margaritas: no mix - just fresh lime, tequila, agave. Their food menu for happy hour is extensive and great. Prices are really reasonable, expeciall for a well-made margarita. Food-wise, I strongly recommend the deconstructed elote, which comes with warm tortilla chips. The queso and guac on the dips plate are also great. They have all-day happy hour on Monday. Not sure how this place will be in the summer season, but right now it is really great and everyone should check it out. Kyle was a great bar tender - fun to chat with and attentive to keeping our drinks flowing.

Service not good. Asked three times for water. Had to ask for silverware. Sorry but I’m in the hospitality business too and you shouldn’t have to ask for water or silverware.

one of my friends got a mojito and found an ice breaker at the bottom of her glass that freaked us out before we found out what it was. when we addressed it to the bartenders they laughed and said it must’ve gotten in the ice which i’m assuming fell out of somebody’s mouth. it made us a little uncomfortable. don’t think we will be back at all.

We showed up hoping to sit on the upstairs deck, so we were a little bummed to find it closed and end up downstairs. That disappointment didn't last long thanks to Kyle the bartender.
He knew the venue inside and out, explained the deck was getting renovations, and pointed us toward some great food we wouldn't have thought to order, and then absolutely delivered on the drinks side. Every recommendation was spot on. What started as a make the best of it visit turned into an unexpected fantastic outing. Kyle's energy, knowledge, and genuine hospitality made all the difference.We'll definitely be back. Fingers crossed the deck is open next time, and fingers double crossed Kyle is behind the bar. Highly recommend sitting in his section if you get the chance!
