“Both the food and drink menu were carefully crafted with a great combination of flavors and options for everyone. The French onion soup was served hot and creamy, the churro waffle croissant was so light and well balanced. The pear mimosa was our favorite out of the mimosa flight. Overall very comfortable atmosphere with a lot of natural light. Service was excellent! Bonus points for being right by the water.“

“Nice hideaway with an extensive craft beer selection (larger establishments should take note). The public house is located in the liquor, sounds strange but the ambiance is nice and they have live music on Fridays. Cheese fries were tasty! Don't judge a book by its cover. Solid four stars.“
“Come here quite often for alcohol, they have a great selection for a small spot. Recently, I finally went there for a meal and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Staff was pleasant and quick with service. The only issue is the place is rather small and tables are limited.“
“I love the food. Everything I've had has been awesome.. there Calamari is awesome.. and if you like loaded fries try them here. You will be okay. Drinks are great and they have a good selection of liquors. “The food here is amazing!! I have been to the Matawan location a few times now and every time I try something new and nothing is disappointing. Their chicken quesadillas are amazing their Bergers and wings are amazing!! The waiters are very friendly, the manager came by to check on us a couple of times and was very friendly and helped us with anything we needed awesome guy! The restaurant was clean and smelled amazing! The beer on draft here is also very fresh!! Would recommend to anyone great place if you're trying to catch a game and have a beer!!!!“
“The place is nice and clean, restrooms could be cleaned more often. Food is decent so is the atmosphere and folks. Crowd varies vastly day eve weekday or weekend. Parking lot is stone so drive slow not to slide when turning in and not to kick up rocks on cars or boats. I've been here with my motorcycle but the rocky lot stinks for that yet we did it anyway before.“

“All around amazing food, from the fries to the burgers. I am currently here with my family and the food came out super fast. My first bite was incredible, magic on my tastebuds. The perfectly seasoned rotisserie chicken along with my amazingly-cooked bacon cheeseburger was more than enough for a 5 star review. Not to mention the drinks came out super fast and were very thirst-quenching. Not only am I giving the food an incredible review, but the experience is super cool. The place is huge, with a spot for everyone. My tastebuds thanked me today... so I thank you, Fireside Bar & Grill.“
