The Vegan Tree in Matawan NJ has been around for maybe 8 years or so. This is the first time I am trying it because a lot of their menu has soy protein, which I don't always eat. Had the BLT wrap with avocados, which was very fresh and full of tasty flavor. The only issue for me is that most items are $13 or more, which makes it a bit costly. I was here with a group of 5 people, and we had a very positive experience. The meals were fresh, nicely seasoned, and absolutely delicious. Our server was attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back!Vegetarian options: The menu choices were varied and wonderful. Everything on the menu is vegetarian and, I believe, vegan. I am neither, but I thoroughly enjoyed my meal!

Great takeout place. The best vegan Chinese food. My favorite is the Golden Charm. I swear I am eating meat. It’s nice and spicy too. The beet rice is so good. One plate is a bit pricey compared to regular Chinese food, but it is worth it. They also do catering, which we always get for holidays for my vegan relatives.
