Amayar Kitchen is a charming restaurant known for its delicious food, friendly service, and warm atmosphere. Located in Paramus, it offers a unique Burmese cuisine experience with dishes like coconut chicken soup, chicken spring rolls, beef curry, and duck. Standout items include Sato's chips and homemade hot sauces. The service is often praised as fantastic, with warm and welcoming staff who deliver food quickly.
The restaurant has a cozy environment, although some may find the seating a bit tight. It offers a family-run, local feel with a casual ambiance. Popular dishes include fried tofu made of chickpeas, which is tasty with the accompanying sauce, and a salad with peanuts and garlic that offers a fresh taste. The coconut chicken noodle soup balances cozy and refreshing flavors, while the duck noodles feature tender meat and well-cooked noodles. Desserts like coconut gelatin and semolina squares are mildly sweet and addictive.
Many customers appreciate the authenticity of the food and the kindness of the family that owns the restaurant. The owner is known for his passion and generosity, sharing the story behind his family’s recipes. The restaurant also offers a good atmosphere with nice music and clean restrooms, making it a great place to enjoy a satisfying meal.
