Nice atmosphere. The food is good but not the best I have eaten. The porcini risotto was good but portion was small for the price.

The atmosphere was pleasant, and I appreciated the industrial decor. I ordered the seafood pasta, which unfortunately lacked flavor and needed additional salt and cheese to make it more enjoyable. I was also disappointed to find something unpleasant under the cheese lid, which was very off-putting.

My partner ordered the pasta with sausage and broccoli rabe, but the dish was more like a soup and felt lacking in substance—not enough food for a meal.

Service could have been better, especially considering the restaurant was not busy and there were many open tables. It took around 10 minutes for the server to bring cheese and check in with us. We also never received water refills during our meal. Overall, we left feeling disappointed with both the food and the service.

I went in and had a wonderful lunch. The food is very delicious I ordered the Cacio de peppe. Was amazing! The service was excellent Angus was wonderful and kind.
And the Strawberry drink- wow! A new favorite.

I don’t often write reviews but the price for service is not worth it! The servers and GM are aloof and disrespectful and the food and drink are subpar. Lucky they are the only game in town.

Wonderful food, nice atmosphere, terrible service. Sat near the bar area in a both. Took 10 minutes to place our drink order, another 20 minutes to get our drinks. Took 20 minutes to place our food order. Place was not overly crowded but simply the waiter, gentlemen with gray hair and gray beard, I suppose had more important things to do. This was not the first time we had such negative service experience. I suppose the solution is do not sit near the bar area as other tables did receive more timely service.

I love Piattino' s staff and food but the heavy Italian music is a vibe killer. This is a lovely Mendham spot but please change the tunes.

I recently dined at Piattino and had a wonderful experience. My food came out in a very timely manner and the service was impeccable. I was served by Fritzie D who was sweet, organized, had a sunny smile, and very professional. She made sure we were well taken care of and catered to our tables needs. The vodka pasta had great flavors and the cocktails were fantastic! I will definitely be dining here again!
