I struggle to find words that can do Bonney’s justice. The food is phenomenal, and the portions beyond generous. The fusion of Jamaican and Filipino staples creates such a beautiful symphony of flavors, it’s truly unique and out of this world delicious! However, it is the service and atmosphere, so warm and inviting, that it feels like a weekend barbecue with close friends and family that takes it up a notch from great restaurant to a special experience.
Just ordered takeout and brought it home to Brooklyn. Lechon, cucumber salad, and plaintains. All were spectacular - the crispy cracklings of the pork got me excited on the drive home. And when my wife and I opened up the containers and tasted it, wow! The team there also radiates a very kind vibe. We definitely will be back whenever we are nearby.
My friends and I loved this place!! The food was amazing and full of flavor. The space is so cozy and the staff was so welcoming. We had the half and half plate and the curry lumpia. Highly recommend this place!!!
