They "get it" when it comes to balanced flavor, variety of veggies and even the way they cut them with a special slicer was perfect. Truly Thai is now our go-to Thai food destination. “This is truly a hidden gem on Main Street, Sayreville. The front of the restaurant features an ice cream parlor, so the real Thai restaurant is very easily overlooked. There's a rear entrance directly into the restaurant from the side street. This was our first time ordering takeout from here. Amazingly wonderful food. We ordered the Red Curry and the Thai Grill and I never have tasted such delicious Thai food ever before!!!! It's a cozy little place to actually sit down and eat. Among all the Thai restaurants in the surrounding area, I will rate this a 5*, A++++ Next time we plan to actually sit down and have a meal at the restaurant, rather than take out. Highly recommend.“

“Recommend: tilapia tacos*, salsa verde, campenchanosGood: tamales, barbacoa tacosOk: chicken flautas, arabes tacos, lengua (tongue) tacos, tripa tacos*Probably would have been a 3 star rating if we didn't like the tilapia tacos so much. They were definitely the favorite. The fish was tender and nicely seasoned.The seasoning and cook on other things were a little hit or miss. Barbacoa had great taste but too salty, arabes were dry, lengua was disappointingly dry and bland. The salsa verde was used liberally to save many of the tacos.The flautas were nice and crispy but the chicken inside was dry.The tripe had some crunchy bits that some people might like but I found them tough.The campenchanos in the flour tortilla were also a bit salty but I liked how soft the tortilla was.The tamales had nice texture, but the cheese stick inside was strange for me.“

“Our office had a Thanksgiving party and one of them brought quiche from this establishment. This quiche (3 pies in) has been pure heaven every time. I haven't had the pleasure of going there as of yet so it was hard to give 5 stars but hopefully it's as warm and welcoming to all that makes you want to keep coming back.“

“Incredible pizza and sandwiches. This place might even be the best pizza spot in Middlesex county. Amazing sauce. Right down the street from my wife and I. Can't believe i discovered it so late. Extremely personable cool staff. Thankful the area finally has a legitimate pizza spot because for whatever reason, New Brunswick (a college town in the middle of NEW JERSEY, doesn’t really have any *elite* pizza. Highland Park across the bridge does and it’s called DeeDee’s!

“Dinner after my daughter’s Confirmation was so good! I have had 3 christenings, 3 communions and now 2/3 Confirmation parties here. We love the food here and I grew up coming here. Their party package CANNOT BE BEAT. Includes choice of entree, potato, vegetables, appetizers bruschetta, cold antipasto, HOT antipasto, pasta course & salad! The best food and the best value for a party anywhere around. Frank and everyone there are so nice and will do everything needed to accommodate you and your guests. Can’t wait until my next party!“
