“No Veteran or Senior Discounts. Food Superb. We had the Tom Yum soup with Shrimp (3 good sized).made as hot as we wanted. Crispy Duck-Ped Tamarind-perfect. Siam special noodle plate with Calamari, as hot as we wanted, top notch. New owner was very Friendly. Served an extra(no charge) bowl for sharing the Soup. As good as served in Thailand, very authentic. Will go back.“

“Been there a few times now. Love this place- authentic Thai food with Thai hospitality! First time we ordered chicken satay, fried fish with sweet chili sauce and mango sticky rice. My favorite is chicken satay - aromatic turmeric chicken with delicious spicy peanut sauce!!! Second time we had spring roll and asked for spicy seafood salad ( not on the menu I believe) . Third time - they have a new chef, so we tried larb moo and som tum - typical northeastern dishes in Thailand. Absolutely love love it! Will be back soon. Happy with new chef and love the friendly owner!!“

“Today was our second time getting take out, ordered two different dishes and both were excellent as were the two we got a week ago. They "get it" when it comes to balanced flavor, variety of veggies and even the way they cut them with a special slicer was perfect. Truly Thai is now our go-to Thai food destination. I hope it doesn't change and they keep up this quality.“

“This is truly a hidden gem on Main Street, Sayreville. The front of the restaurant features an ice cream parlor, so the real Thai restaurant is very easily overlooked. There's a rear entrance directly into the restaurant from the side street. This was our first time ordering takeout from here. Amazingly wonderful food. We ordered the Red Curry and the Thai Grill and I never have tasted such delicious Thai food ever before!!!! It's a cozy little place to actually sit down and eat. Among all the Thai restaurants in the surrounding area, I will rate this a 5*, A++++ Next time we plan to actually sit down and have a meal at the restaurant, rather than take out. “Wow! The dining room is awesome. Ordered Pineapple fried rice and the dish was nicely presented actually in the pineapple shell. They made it medium heat and brought the chili sauce for me to burn as much as I wanted. All the veggies and meats were chopped, cooked and packed into the pineapple. Definitely my most interesting presentation and is probably one of the best Thai dishes I have ever had! Short time in area but I will go back several times before I leave. And the service/server was attentive, fast and very friendly!“

“Went to house of Thai on recommendation from my friend and it didn’t disappoint. Everything from the Thai ice tea to the appetizers while we waited for the rest of our party to arrive were seriously delicious. I had the massamun curry with chicken and licked my plate clean. Dessert was fried bananas, mango sticky rice and a traditional dessert pudding. I definitely recommend you stop in for a visit as everything on the menu looked and tasted great.“

It's been awhile since my brother and myself have gotten together, for lunch with work commits and plain ol just schedule conflicts.

We decided to go to a Thai place by him, I def dig on Thai food, too.

We were seated quickly, with a very easy read menu with pictures for ppl we never offered Thai inspired food, before.

My go-to is Hot Sweet Basil Chicken, with my brother giving a great review of this place I decided on Garlic Grilled Chicken Breast as my main lunch special and side of Chive pancakes, that comes with soup or salad I decided on the Tom Yum Soup(Hot & Sour).

We ordered an appetizer of Fried Tofu among us, it came with an sweet Chili sauce for dipping.

With the timing perfect our main lunch as we finished the appy.

The presentation of my Garlic Grilled Chicken with a nice portion of scoop white rice... The (light brown) garlic sauce clung to the grilled chicken topped with onions and string beans that sat upon grilled crossed hatch markinga.

My side of Chive pancakes was just at the right crispness and warmth to be dipped in the included slightly chilled Spicy Brown Soy sauce made it a perfect tasty match.

With such a strong price point and value for lunchtime, I'll definitely come back for another visit.“

“Since working @ L’Oréal, which is across the street, an employee invited me to lunch here. It was the first time I tried Thai food and I loved it! I haven’t tried anywhere else. The service has always been good up until yesterday. I ordered my food online but I wanted to eat there because my lunch is too short so I waste time walking back to work with my lunch. I think they were upset because when 2 women served me food and water, I said THANK YOU and they both ignored me. They smiled at their other guest but looked serious with me. I used to eat lunch there everyday so I deserve respect! I don’t know where the guy and girl that treated me so nicely went but these 2 women make me not want to eat there again.

You didn’t go “above and beyond” because when I called to order my food to eat it there, the girl on the phone said you don’t do that so I still ordered my food online and when I got there I ASKED you to warm it up. Even if it wasn’t allowed, you should’ve told me instead of giving me attitude and treating me with disgrace. I’ve ordered many times there, I put money into your business I even recommend this restaurant to people so you should’ve told be professional!

By the way, the drunken noodles I ate yesterday only contained 2 pieces of tofu and barely any sauce, it was dry.“

“I have ordered the chicken tikka empanadas and other types of empanadas from the Bites and Bowls food truck at least twenty times over the past years, and I can genuinely say they are top quality every time. Other empanadas from food trucks in the area are cold in the middle or lack filling. Bites and Bowls is fairly priced, their empanadas are fresh and hot all the way through, and they are generously sized and filled. The gentleman running the truck is always courteous and serves orders with a smile.

I wish the food truck went to more locations. It is worth standing in line for these empanadas. Simply superb, 10/10.“
