“Such a beautiful location! The one in Red Bank as well. I went in to pick up my 2 day fasting cleanse. A young lady greeted me with a genuine welcoming smile. She was knowledgeable and informative. I decided to get a hot latte. A gentleman walked over to me and handed it to me! He didn't stand at the counter and say, your order is ready. This customer service was top tier! Oh, and the juices ARE SPECTACULAR, LIKE REALLY GOOD!!!!“

“I visited The Herd Juicery and was totally impressed. They have refreshing fruit bowls and juices, and they serve hot meals that are gluten-free and plant-based. For anyone who has celiac disease or gluten sensitivity, it's nice not having to worry about gluten cross contamination. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. Even my husband loved his bowl and felt full afterwards without needing to take a nap. The smoothie bowls were a perfect guilt free desert!“

“We were looking for a vegan restaurant to stop at about halfway through a drive from Bergen County to a shore point and found this place on Happy Cow. It did not disappoint! Food was delicious. Service was friendly and attentive, and the portions were large. We ordered the mac & cheese with coconut bacon and the Reuben sandwich. Although we were full we ordered two desserts to go because they looked so delicious . We ate them later on at home and they were delicious as well! We got the slutty brownie and the chocolate chip cookie. We will definitely visit again when we are in the area.“

“I could not even count on 5 hands how many times I have been to THIS specific playa bowls in just the past month. It is my go-to spot simply because of the food, atmosphere, and staff. My go to is the Nutella bowl, however, I do dabble in other menu items such as the booster bowl for a great intake of protein and a good balance. My journey does not stop there though because in addition to my bowl I also grab protein bites for a quick snack later in the day. These fuel me for HOURS on end and I can't get enough of them. I would LOVE to be buried in a basket of these things. For events and office parties, I order their catering packages. Normally catering is too expensive for what you get but not here! The price for food was incredible and a huge hit at all the parties and events. The staff is honestly the best part of the place because they are incredible. They are always so helping and friendly and never fail to make my kids smile. The manager obviously has been hands on because they are AYYYYYMAZING!

Kid-friendliness: The staff was extremely friendly and even would talk to my kids regardless of them working. They would pop in and out between work and conversations just to make my kids feel welcomed. They showed them all the games that they had in store and even showed them how to play!“

Parking: It is in the same plaza as a pediatric urgent care so could be busy and have to park in adjacent parking lot but otherwise pretty easy.

Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. My kids love the Fooseball table.“

“it has been awhile since I was in Atlantic Highlands when JUS was still open. I am so glad that I was able to stop in today. The Chia pudding was always a favorite. The pudding used to be served in a small cup by itself. Well now it comes in a bowl with fruit, nuts, syrup and then some .... it was delicious before but even more fantastic now. And sorry, no photo because it was eaten before I wrote this! Yum!“

“I want to give them one star for service because of the young lady at the register, but 5 stars for the man who served us and the lady who cleared the table. Those two were courteous and friendly. The young lady at the register was rude when giving me my change. I gave her a $20 bill, she returned $7.10 by throwing it on the counter. I was shocked. I told my coworker who was with me (he had already stepped away from the counter). His response was yes she was rude (to him too). He paid with a credit card, so she didn't have any money to throw at him, but had an attitude taking his order. I guess we were not the right color for her (we're both different races). If I'm in that area again, I don't think I would patronize this restaurant again. I'm still baffled because I was my usual cheery self when ordering. While my coworker was ordering, I was trying to figure out the menu and what to get. As he finished, I asked him what he got, he said a crunch (or something like that) and I decided I would get tacos. I asked a question about how many tacos because I thought it was the usual 3 that you get at other restaurants. When I was told, it's one taco, I said, oh okay, I would like 2 please. I asked for the sauce on the side. Is that the reason she was rude? I'm still confused by the rudeness. I watched her after that being nice to customers (of her race) who were seated (she was wiping tables then). Smh.“

I was happy I did, after the last two horrendous visits both with product and customer service which were months ago yesterday’s experience was wonderful. My first thought was “ They must have a new owner or manager” . If this is the case , well done. So happy to have a Playa I can once again go to.“

“I order doordash from this location every morning and they're great! The one thing I'd like to suggest, instead of sealing the bag you guys put your smoothies in can you put the seal over the straw hole and around the side of the smoothie lid? I had one dasher bring me the smoothie with the bag tore open and told me verbatim "those idiots don't know how to pack right I had to open your bag so the smoothie didn't fall over". I requested a refund from doordash and tossed the smoothie cause he could have done anything with it he wanted. Otherwise I love this place!!!“
