This is easily one of the best Mexican spots in Monmouth County — such an unexpected gem. From the outside, you’d never guess it’s a Mexican restaurant, and once inside, you’d never expect the food to be this flavorful and authentic. Everything tastes incredibly fresh. One of my absolute favorites is their wet burrito — it’s absolutely phenomenal. This place has definitely become part of my weekly routine.
The nachos were disappointing to say the least. No ground beef, no cilantro, no tomatoes, and no red onion. All very cheap ingredients to create a beautifully colored dish. However, Christine was absolutely amazing! Very friendly and super attentive, we would come back just for her!
Just like I remember from my days living in SoCal. I was thrilled to find there was a location in NJ. I made my husband and friends drive an hour and a half with me to enjoy lunch for my birthday. And I’m so glad I did. The food was outstanding!!!. As were the coconut margaritas. The service was wonderful. We felt very welcomed and very much enjoyed the ambiance.
