The guy working the counter was extremely nice. So I will say service here was great. However, my boyfriend and I were not that impressed by the food. The rice in the burrito was undercooked and I bit into many hard pieces that hurt my tooth. The fajitas my boyfriend ordered did not come with rice and beans which I thought was crazy, especially given the price. Prices in general are too high for the food.

I stopped here and ordered the grilled chickenn bowl. Outstanding
My husband and I walked over from a neighboring B&B and were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was- even the homemade salsa that the owner’s mom taught him to make. I had the veggie taco(guac on the bottom and loads of fresh chopped veggies on top) and my husband had the spicy pork and grilled pineapple tacos- they were both outstanding. And very reasonably priced for the quantity of food. Go there! It has a diner atmosphere but it’s authentic.

We went here for lunch, and were immediately greeted and seated by our server, who was friendly and attentive. We were served chips and some excellent salsa while we waited. I actually filled up on the salsa and had to take a large part of my entree home with me, haha. My husband got the tacos al pastor and I got the tacos carnitas. Both dishes were excellent, and were made even better by the habanero hot sauce that the server suggested. We’ll definitely go here again next time we’re in the area.

A basic Mexican restaurant with great options of meat and veggies in various flour and corn shells.

Ordered the chicken burrito and my partner ordered the beef quesadillas. The chicken was cooked really well nice and soft. Nachos and Salsa were also provided at no charge. The burrito could have been a tad bit spicier, but it was still really good. Lots of seating and no complaints with the service. Prices are typical for Mexican food in the area.

El Charro is such a great little BYOB Mexican restaurant. I highly recommend their shrimp tacos! My husband and I have become regulars there. That is how much we enjoy their tacos. Tommy, whom waits on the table is very friendly and we always enjoy our conversations with him.
