“tasty food, reasonably priced. i got the spinach and bacon croissant which was delicious and one of the best breakfast sandwiches i’ve ever had. my dad got chicken salad on a croissant and he liked it too and it came with chips and pickles. coffee was very strong and the chocolate chip muffin was fresh. service wasn’t the friendliest but it was fine (got some side eye for asking them to not waste a bag on my muffin and just give it to me in a napkin). a filling lunch for two people under $25, with coffee and and muffin for dessert.“

“This is central NJ. ... The home of stripmalls and the obligate pizza, bagel, and Asian restaurants. I live on Rt. 130: within a mile of my home are four bagel stores. Bagel 1 is the best. Huge bagels, crusty, chewey but soft, great flavor. Huge variety. Great prices. Fast, friendly. Efficient service.“

“Best bagels in New Brunswick. I've been patronizing since they moved to their current location in September of 1998. Not much has changed since then, which is a great thing considering the development of the surrounding area.

Some of the lower ratings are subjective. Come in and see for yourself a real gem of Easton Ave. Nicholas is a class act and wonderful reminiscing with. I'll be back, like I always do, when I visit the old stomping grounds.“

“I always had Dunellen Bagel when I lived there and it’s the best bagel I’ve ever had. I moved and bagels aren’t the same here so everytime I visit Jersey I have to go to Dunellen Bagel and I have my husband addicted too. He’s never tasted a bagel like this and he was amazed. So we bring bagels back home in our carry-on and freeze them at home. I would 100% definitely recommend this place!“

“Amazing. I mean just wow. I got a french toast bagel with Oreo cream cheese and it blew me away. They had cookies and cakes as well which I almost got but I changed my mind. I wish I was local, so I could go back and try those as well. Drink and food prices are reasonable, and for the quality it is 100% a no brainer. If you want some breakfast in the area, this spot is an excellent choice. You will not be disappointed“

“I lived in Raritan for many years and I always stopped in here for breakfast. Good food. Fresh bagels. Fresh coffee. Used to love to go in there on St Patrick's Day because the owner would make corned beef and cabbage. Great place not sure if Danny still owns it but if you do, Fred says hello“

“Not a bad bagel place for those who are in the area, solid pork roll, egg, and cheese sandwich. They have good cream cheese choices too. Overall not the best bang for buck bagel store though. They have a $1 card charge though so bring cash.“

“Really awesome bagels! Typical bagel shop / deli fare. I like the variety of bagels - they have everything, egg everything amd a whole wheat everything! Their multi-grain and french toast bagels are awesome too. Great food. Cooks prepare the food correctly. The staff are very friendly, it shows when they are rushed or stressed, but otherwise they are welcoming and thank us for coming in. The coffee is great! Tasty and fresh, I love some of the flavored beans, but they don't always have every flavor available. Chicken salad and tuna salad and other lunch options are also very good.“

“Everyone knows they have great bagels, especially their everything bagel…. However, I Accidentally found out they have probably the best tuna sub I’ve had in years! If you’re a fan of tuna, give it a shot! Comes with a side of macaroni salad or coleslaw or other small options“

“We chose not to recommend this place. The most expensive bagel shop we have ever been to. Charged $1.25 for an extra piece of cheese. Charged $7 for a bagel with egg and scallion cream cheese, an egg and cheese sandwich is listed at $3.99. They add $3 for the scallions in the cheese. The other clerk was rude to customers. Will not be going back.“

“I still think about these bagels over a year later. Didn’t even have it fresh at the time as I was working, but it still tasted amazing the next day. I also didn’t pick the bagel and usually, I am selective about what kind, but the order I was given was delicious!!!! I am hoping for more locations around NJ closer to me so I can get them more often! I also love the fun looking bagels as well!“

“Very overpriced IMO. I was charged 12.50 for a bacon egg and cheese on a bagel, and a large coffee. The sandwich was very good but I don't want to pay that much for that type of meal.The staff was nice enough, but communication was a bit difficult because of their limited English.“
