“So one night they were in the mood for some fried chicken & they found this place. It was our first time there & I must say, it won't be our last. I believe the gentleman behind the counter was the owner but not quite sure, but whomever he was, he was a great representative of the place. We ended up getting a few hot wings, a box of chicken, corn on the cob & fries & I was actually shocked at how good they were.“

“Akihi is a chain of boba shops, with this location being located right near the Rutgers University campus. It was quite spacious, with large glass windows facing outwards to the plaza that hosts other smaller shops.

The shop hosted a self service kiosk, which made it easier to order and find things, as this was my first time visiting this chain. The menu is reasonably priced, with standard boba flavors as well as serving snacks.

I got the Brown Sugar Brulee, which wasn't too sweet but had a nice flavor to it. We also tried the passionfruit tea (called the fruit party) and it wasn't too sweet but very refreshing as well. It is a good compliment after having a heavy meal and you need something that isnt too sweet.

“Haven't been to Redstone in over a year. We sat outside as the night was beautiful and our reservation was honored on time. My only complaint is that they really need to update their menu. It's the same old menu that it's been since opening. I had the Thai noodles with the chicken. I requested white mean and they put a breast on top. I was told it would be shredded which would have been much easier to eat as the bowl was small. The dish was very blah so I was disappointed. The service was good so I guess it's all a matter of preference but updating the menu would be a real plus.“

He insured my order, doesn’t get any beef patties and on the special request hey switch the patty to beyond patty. I usually do this when I go to this restaurant in person and this is the only place where I eat burgers because they’re exceptionally good. Also, their aloo tiki burger is outstanding. “If this place a a few tables inside or even outside so you can eat your food fresh, 5 stars overall all day. I ate in my car to avoid the battered fish and fries getting soggy due to the steam being trapped in the containers the food is in. On to the food… since this place is very affordable, I ordered a 3 piece of catfish, 3 piece whiting, 3 piece tilapia and 6 piece wings with fries. Everything came out fresh. No fishy smells or foul taste. Very well seasoned and you can add a little shake of lemon pepper spice mix they have on the counter. Tater sauce is really good also. Not that it needs it, but taking a piece of fish dipping it in hot sauce letting the batter absorb it and then taking it for a swim in tartar before taking that bite of delight that will definitely have you going in for another. Their wings fall right off the bone leaving you with that crispy crunchy coating surrounding juicy chicken meat that also does not need anything else, but dipping that in hot sauce bringing your tastebuds to the next level.

Parking: I went around 1:30 on a Friday so not sure if it is easy to find parking during busy times.“

“Amazing food with friendly customer service. They treat you like a family and understand customer needs. I wanted my mix platter with broccoli and zucchini which is not in their menu, they were able to provide that for me. My son love their buffalo wings dip in sauce and hot wings. Their fried chicken is always fresh and delicious! I also recommend their cheesesteak, always fresh, hot and juicy!
