“I’m originally from Guyana and the Caribbean, where flavor is life and every dish tells a story. Over the years, I’ve explored a world of cuisines—American, Pakistani, Indian, French, French Quebec, Canadian, Haitian, Italian, Middle Eastern, Israeli, Chinese, Thai, Greek—each with its own magic. But nothing prepared me for the pure joy I found at Mazar Afghan. Let me tell you: no rice and meat combo in the world has hit me like this one. The lamb shank leg? Massive, tender, and seasoned like it was kissed by the spice gods. The rice? Fragrant, fluffy, and layered with flavor that makes you pause mid-bite just to appreciate it. Even my wife—who’s got a sharp palate and isn’t easily impressed—confirmed it’s awesome. (Though she might be side-eyeing my new rice obsession 😅) And the tea with milk? If you order the best, it’s like a warm hug in a cup. Smooth, aromatic, and the perfect finish to a feast that leaves you full but craving more. No short change here. Portions are generous, the hospitality is warm, and the flavors are unforgettable. Just one request to the chef: please don’t jack the price up on me! 😂“

“Halal wings here were on point. Crispy, saucy and huge! 20 wings for 25$ is a great price especially when it’s these large size wings. 10 wings is enough for 2 people.
The garlic Parmesan was not bad but the sweet chili Thai is amazing.“

“Thanksgiving to remember!!! My family of three spent the holiday dining on the buffet feast provided. Turket, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, BBQ ribs, chicken , fish, pasta were rivaled by the cast array of mouth watering deserts and great service.“

“OMG!! I happened to stop into Big Bully Bites last night! What a pleasant surprise! I ordered buffalo garlic wings and they were the BEST I've ever had. Great size, perfectly cooked and just so well prepared.
As an added bonus, the owner is such a cool guy! Do yourself a favor and stop in, it won't disappoint!!“

“I am a big sticker for fried food not being greasy and this was the first time I have ever been to this restaurant. The chicken came out HOT which is extremely important and had just the right seasoning. When I didn't see greasy chicken or the paper inside greasy I tried one and before I knew it I had eaten five wings waiting for the rest of my food. And I bought 12 pieces to take home and share. Also try the bean pie OMG I literally ate the entire thing. I purchased the small one. I don't usually eat the crust but it was so delicious.“

“Standard burger joint, with unique food combos. A lot of flavor. This was the aloo tikki burger with potatoes and peas. Was massive. Hard to eat without making a mess but tasty. Fresh - the other burger I saw steam coming out of. Would get the food again.“
