“Have been dying to try this restaurant out since they opened! They did not disappoint! The food is so fresh! no premade heated up restaurant food here! Every single thing we have tried was a taste sensation! Pizza homemade sauce and cheese to broc rabe so tender and mild, salmon to die for. We have been there 4 times liked it so much after the first time had them cater a party at our home. Every single person asked where the food came from. Joe the owner delivered the catering himself. Speaking of….Joe and Rosana the owners make you feel like family from our first visit. Not only have we found our go to weekly place to eat out we have found friends that we enjoy visiting and trust to cater our family events! Thanks Joe and Ro! Did I mention the homemade rice pudding they gave us? Wife was never a fan of rice pudding but so good she goes back for more even made a special trip to pick some up for our Easter guests. Thank you Joe and Ro!“

“We arrived for lunch on a cold Saturday in December. We were the only customers in the place. The place was very nice. The guy that served us also worked in the back. It felt very authentic to a family run restaurant. The food and drink was good and reasonably priced. Others have mentioned credit cards. Cash is preferred, but they do accept cards. However using a card adds a small fee to the bill. Overall, we enjoyed the experience, and would stop in again, if in the area.“

“Thank you for hosting an amazing After Pass for my family and friends! The tables were set up beautifully as we arrived. The food came out in courses, hot and fresh. We are traditional Italian cooks by heritage, and we could not get over the incredible meatballs! They made the chicken piccata with just the right amount of lemon and capers. The last course was an assortment of Italian mini desserts that were scooped up in a matter of minutes!! The only complaint we had was the chef would not part with the meatball recipe. “For a $1000 meal I expect flawless service and unfortunately that was not the case. Drinks ordered during dinner arrived while eating desert. Two times they brought over the wrong drinks and one order they completely forgot.. Also when waiter brings over food he should know who ordered what and not have to ask again. Food was good but service needs improvement if those are the prices you will be charging.“

“We had an event catered out of state and can’t say how wonderful and professional Abhi and his team were. Not only was the food great and spot on but the service, smiles and positive vibes from his entire staff was amazing. The event was seamless thanks in large part b/c absolutely no hassles from the caterer. The appetizers were fantastic especially the Raj Kachori which was a hit! Dessert was also unique with outstanding mithai which I have not seen elsewhere.

Pork chop used to be really cooked to perfection and moist, however lately it has been dried out and overcooked. Mac and cheese lost the amount of cheese it usually has on it, and noodles were undercooked the previous two times. Must have changed the cooks in kitchen, who knows.“

“We had an amazing meal a few weeks ago at Luca’s! We were greeted and seated and waited on promptly. We brought our own wine in which they had no problem opening for us. The food was out of this world. Their meatball appetizer is everything you’ve heard and then some. Incredible sauce, bread service, and our meals were excellent. My partner had the octopus for an appetizer and said it was incredible. Both of our meals were amazing and served timely and piping hot. I had the chicken marsala with mushroom risotto, delicious! And he had the veal saltimbocca. The service was prompt, pleasant and just perfect, and the atmosphere is lovely. I highly recommend this restaurant!“

“Loved the decor and the overall vibe of the restaurant. The food was delicious. Very good quality meat. We got the beef oil and pork bone broth and it was delicious. We also ordered the the house fried rice which was so yummy. The sauce selection was great too. Service was good as well.

“Never been to this place before and the gentleman at the counter took the time to go over their most popular dishes to help me decide. I got a mixed platter with chicken and lamb and it was so good that I wish I had more of a stomach to eat even more! It took about 15 minutes to have the food prepared but it was well worth the wait. Ingredients tasted fresh, the proteins were full of flavor and the sauce was top tier. Coming back again and again for sure.“

“Akihi is a chain of boba shops, with this location being located right near the Rutgers University campus. It was quite spacious, with large glass windows facing outwards to the plaza that hosts other smaller shops.

The shop hosted a self service kiosk, which made it easier to order and find things, as this was my first time visiting this chain. The menu is reasonably priced, with standard boba flavors as well as serving snacks.

I got the Brown Sugar Brulee, which wasn't too sweet but had a nice flavor to it. We also tried the passionfruit tea (called the fruit party) and it wasn't too sweet but very refreshing as well. It is a good compliment after having a heavy meal and you need something that isnt too sweet.

The Northern Italian menu which changes to focus on only the freshest ingredients has a little Swiss influence and is presented with an artistic touch and personal care. Last evening I hosted sixteen business associates in the back room which has an iron gate for privacy. Filippo presented a five course meal which blew everyone away followed by him playing a few songs on the Piano. The Chicken or Cod dishes were pan seared to perfection. daFilippo's is a BYOB restaurant which I Love. My wife remarked how clean the restrooms are kept. Plenty of parking in the rear of the building. In closing, if you are looking for a family owned, unique restaurant where the owner chef touches every plate to ensure perfection then this is the place to make a reservation.“

The staff were attentive yet not overebearing and the food was delicious. “As a first timer at Nomad, I read reviews and saw several that complained about the service; so I was prepared for same. But have to say, the service was good. Our server was prompt to the table, gave us time to decide, and brought water. And so it went, no complaints. Pizza is no longer a cheap meal, so no problem with the prices, which are reasonable. The pies, well, they are a tasty, flavorful meal, with crust done perfectly. One of our party ordered an arugula salad, which he devoured. The Nutella desert pizza was not that impressive, but it did seem to disappear. Cheers!“

“The best pizza place local to me. When you walk in it smells of as a traditional Italian grandmas kitchen. My boyfriend was craving pizza so I brought him here. He got the meatball pie. The face he made after eating the first bite was him falling in love with me all over again ?. This place also has amazing gluten free and vegetarian options. I recommend this place to all my friends. Tight indoor dining but they have a cute patio outback that’s much more spacious. I personally always do take out.

“At Luca’s Pizza we just ordered a large cheese pizza to go. It’s amazing! Definitely the best pizza in the middlesex/Piscataway away.
