This place felt nostalgic to me. I hung out in places like this when I was young. It's a good bookstore and cafe that really serves the community. The kitchen serves good stuff that is better than your average bookstore Cafe. There are scones baked fresh, but there are also more creative meals. Check for specials! The chef is just that--a real chef, not someone who opens frozen food containers. It's a great community gathering spot. Recommended.
When the menu postings started I was intrigued. I had been meaning to do take out lunches from Bogart's. I didn't get around to that until today. My lunch was delicious and fresh. I will definitely be back.

Was a welcoming haven during COVID. Eclectic setting. Limited outdoor seating. Go for breakfast or lunch and grab a book, too.
