Soul Food in New Jersey gets no better than Dootsie’s Kitchen in Monroe, and that is no exaggeration. The place even rivals most soul food restaurants that I have experienced down south. I ordered catering from here for a corporate event and all the food was delicious! I highly recommend the fried chicken and sweet potato cornbread which was amazing! I will definitely be back!

Absolutely INCREDIBLE!!!

Not a bad item on this menu. Jeff Is an outstanding individual and DOOTSIE’S Is a superior establishment with AUTHENTIC fare.

The food can and WILL speak for itself!

No need for a prolonged sales pitch. If you wonder what the real BBQ and soul looks and taste like, DOOTSIE’S will leave you assured and with no doubt!
