They have the best wings in the area !
Went to see an Elvis Impersonator tonight which was fantastic. The food and drink service was horrible and the owner didn’t seem to care. They said they were short staffed because 2 people called out. I don’t blame the waitress as she was the only one for a room of about 100 plus people she had to do everything including taking care of the bar. The owners should be ashamed themselves for letting that happen. Waited over 1hour for food and drinks.
The owner was rude and obnoxious. The waitress was not very pleasant and slow getting to our table to take our orders. The place was practically empty and now we know why. Beware!!!
Not the waitress fault. Not staffed at all. Food was bad. Very disappointing, used to like the place and the food used to be good. Band was great though!!

I don't know how they stay in business. Very strange place. And the food is questionable.
Don’t go here if you have melanin in ur skin. The bartenders are old, slow and racist. The bands are dope but I’m very disappointed to see people that are still this way in 2022.
Good food and beer but way to noisy and loud. Hard to converse with someone
Garvey’s has been a landmark of Monroe, NJ for many decades. A family run business that is inviting and admired by many. They continue to have live entertainment,7 car shows and karaoke. Some of the best bands in the world have visited and played at Garveys. You don’t believe me? You can get a cold drink or two and see all of the memorabilia showing the bands and musicians who have played here.

Good drink prices..need to upgrade bar seats in awful shape!! Food was average bar food..
Very cool please unexpected it’s an old time concert hall for bands for the 1970s and 80s
Dead as a doornail I went to see my brother play there and the family and friends were the only people in the place the building is huge and it is a very nice looking building but there were no people there whatsoever the band was good they are called cinnamon shine if you ever see them out there come hear them play you'll enjoy oh and PS they stiffed my brother at the end of the night with the payment way to go Garvey not the band's fault that you can't get people at your place
Was there 4/9/22. Bartender was working alone. Couldn't keep up. Owner was drunk watching Bartender fall way behind. Couldn't get a drink. Food came out after waiting 1 hour. Didn't have anyone cleaning tables. My burger was terrible. Never will go back.
I reserved a table for 10 a week in advance to see the 2 bands last night, 4/9. We waited at our table for 15 mins and there were no servers to be seen. Went up to the bar and was told by someone who I guess was a server that if we were sitting at tables she'd be right there. Went back to table and waited another 15 mins. Still no server to be seen. Went back to the bar and it was a disaster that would have given Jon Taffer a stroke. Servers were making their own drinks because it appeared that there was only 1 bartender to serve the entire place! We stood there about 10 mins and were never even acknowledged. And a man who was behind the bar, who was either the owner or manager was completely useless as he stood there with an empty glass in each of his hands not knowing what to do. It was laughable and sad. After not being able to get a drink after almost 40 mins, we all got up and left after traveling 40 mins to get there. None of us will ever go back there. We left and went to see another band at The Green Knoll in Bridgewater. Despite being crowded they put tables together for us the minute we walked in. As we were taking our coats off, our server was there taking our drink orders. We had drinks in our hands within 10 mins of walking in. We all ate too. The food was great and a much better menu then Garveys. Just so Garverys knows, you lost $500 on our table alone between food and drinks. Again, we will NEVER, EVER go back.
