The pizza was exceptionally delicious. The best Neapolitan pizza I ever had and I've had many great ones. David and his team are great, passionate hosts dedicated to their exceptional craft.
My husband and I have been loyal fans of Bivio since the original location in Little Falls, when Tomaso and Jackie owned it. They were wonderful, and we were truly heartbroken when they closed their doors for several years. When we heard Bivio would reopen in Montclair, we were thrilled — we couldn't wait to enjoy that authentic, unforgettable pizza again. Just as we became regulars at the Montclair location, Tomaso announced his retirement, and once again, we were devastated....
What an experience! The pizza was absolutely delectable! Tasted just like the pizzas in Napoli maybe even better! We tried a seasonal special that had a béchamel base, duck prosciutto, squash and sage. We’re still dreaming about it!! The ambiance was intimate, inviting and felt like home. Everyone was so kind and welcoming. The whole experience felt like a warm hug from Italy! We can’t wait to come back soon.
