I wish I had discovered this place sooner! This is the best açaí bowl I ever had. It tasted so fresh and was very high quality. The customer service was also very friendly and attentive, even though it was busy when I came in. I am looking forward to going back and trying everything else on the menu. I highly recommend!

You can’t go wrong with whatever bowl combo you come up with. Clean ingredients, not too sweet and great customer service. Tons of flavor combos and UNLIMITED toppings! BOOMCHIA is heavy competition!

Every time I come to Montclair, I say I’m gonna try this place—and I finally did! I always thought it was an ice cream spot, but turns out they do bowls… and wow, they’re some of the best I’ve ever had. Super tasty, fresh, and naturally colorful thanks to all the fruit. So good and actually nutritious too. This is 100% a must-stop for me every time I’m in town.

Boom Chia in Montclair is by far my favorite açaí spot! The bowls are colorful, beautifully presented, and taste incredibly fresh, clean, and delicious. You can really tell they use high-quality açaí and carefully selected, generous toppings. The shop is always spotless, which adds to the overall great experience. If I could, I’d eat their açaí every single day—it’s that good!

First time trying Boomchia and so happy to be given the opportunity as il sure ive missed out!!
Everything we got was delicious!

At first i was confusing how to start ordering especially with the bases but staff was very patient and walked us through. Love our Matcha and bluepea base as well as our dragonfruit base! Toppings were unlimited which was very generous and we ended up really satisfied! fruits were super fresh!

Not to mention our bowls looks really pretty!

Let’s start: hands down, BEST bowl I’ve ever had (I’ve tried bowls all throughout Jersey) y’all, I don’t even write reviews, but Josh (the owner) and Boomchia are so AMAZING, I had to. Their bases are the freshest I’ve had; I usually get half mango, half açaí, and top with diced strawberries/lime juice. Fruits are perfect EVERY time, never soggy or sad. I live 21 minutes away, and happily drive to this store. Even on my drive home, my bowl is still solid in their insulated to-go bag, not runny or melted, granola still holding its integrity.

Note: I’m an IBS girly, so preservatives from Playa Bowl or other places don’t do well with me. In November 2024, I had a terrible intestinal infection, and couldn’t keep even plain bread down. These bowls were literally the only thing I could stomach for 2 entire WEEKS. I earned hella points during that time ofc, but more importantly, I felt so reassured knowing there was something I could eat, ENJOY, and would be nutritionally beneficial to my healing.

Overall? Amazing, incredible, give me 14 of em right now. 12/10, and the ONLY business making me rethink my move out of state 🫶🏽 a FOREVER customer
