We chose a variety of dishes, and greatly enjoyed the guacamole, various meat dishes, and seafood dishes.“

“I think the azúcar buffet is great. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. The food is amazing I love the service and the people who work here. “Very first visit to the Paterson location. Came from work and searched for places to eat in the area. Very cute place. Very clean and the hostess was nice. She Let us know there were lunch specials . Food was fresh and tasty. Lots of options and all lol as amazing as the Bacon cheeseburger that I ordered and the Wonder burger ordered by my friend. There are different prices for cash and credit. I suggest you bring cash. They have a nice patio and area that can be used for gatherings. The only part I didn’t like was that they add a 15% gratuity w/o notice before spinning around the payment terminal. . I didn’t realize that and added a tip. So they got a double tip. Let me be the one to double tip. Make sure you tell your customers that you auto add tips or you may not have returning customers. We appreciate the restaurant industry and your contribution, but let the customer decide on tip. Other than that , it was a good experience.“

“It's one of the most delicious restaurants I've ever been to.

It's easier to order if you can speak Spanish but the staff speak enough English that it's okay.

The special of the day is fantastic. I recommend the fish.

Parking: Street parking is easiest but you can probably park at the city lot down the street or at the post office if you have to.“

“Quaint, cozy place, "welcome home/family vibe." The lady taking care of the place (I think she's the owner) is amazing! She took such good care of us and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our time there. The food was very good and the portions are huge, definitely worth it. If you like small places with good food, you gotta stop by. Street parking only but there's enough parking and there's a city parking lot nearby.“

We went on a February weekday (Wednesday Lunch time) and the place was clean, well decorated for Valentine's. There was a good crowd and I can see that the staff were all busy doing something work related. Our waiter was attentive and although his English was limited , he still made an attempt. The food was good- Bandeja de Paisa never disappoints. I like how this dish is consistent whether I eat it at their Hackensack location or Englewood location. For the first time I tried their calamari. It was good and I like the sweet chili sauce (an homage to my Asian routes haha). Overall a good place to eat!“

“I randomly walked by this place and decided to stop in. I ordered the Salpicón. It was my first time trying it and it was really good. In addition to my drink being good, the workers were really nice too. I will be back to try some of their other desserts. I would highly recommend.“

“Went on a Tuesday night. There's limited parking in the back but being on a corner, the access is uncomplicated. Plenty of outdoor seating, however not available on this night. Inside was comfortable and relaxing. I imagine it can get lively towards the weekend.
I ordered the whole fried snapper with salad, rice and beans. Excellent. Not overcooked, the fish was juicy and crispy, the way it should be.

I can't give it 5 stars for two fundamental reasons, the first is a suggestion, don't order a tray paisa because it doesn't have arepa or avocado, avocado is fine, but without arepa it's unforgivable and it's not that it's a spectacular dish, better try others things that are very good. The second is that the parking lot is a nightmare, I would like to go more often but unfortunately when we go and there is nowhere to park we have to leave, we don't live nearby so if you can it is better to walk, for us it is impossible, we have lost the trip there just because we can't park. I recommend the place with complete confidence.“

Not that it was bad but I always always always ordered the empanadas & for some reason, the inside was always cold. I ordered other food & it was good. I absolutely love when bars have the music videos up or videos of live shows, but stop playing boleros at a bar. People are drinking. Wanting to have fun. Playing boleros makes people wanna kill themselves lolol. It’s super depressing. Even though the songs are great but not for a bar. Consider doing a digital jukebox where the customers pick strictly, la musica latina and you’ll most likely definitely get a bigger clientele. I know I would waste my money on it lol. “If you've never had an arepa, try it! The bean casserole is AMAZING. Colombian cuisine, but they also have burgers, hot dogs, etc. Open air seating, also indoors. There is a sports bar down the hall and a dance hall upstairs; something for everyone. I've only been on the weekends and there is LIVE MUSIC to enjoy, sing and dance along to. Best of all, it's open 24 hours.“

The Patacon had a lot of different flavors going on that all worked well together. The pineapple mayo and pink sauce really stood out well and complimented the steak. I’m not sure what type of cheese was used, but it was fantastic. Very mild but rounded out of the other flavors nicely.“

“Been going to Happy Paisa Chicken for decades. Though I’m a pescatarian, I’ve always been satisfied with delicious food. My mom and friends like the chicken meals; I enjoy tostones, salad, rice, yucca, beans (frijoles), green sauce, puffed cheese pastries, and more. Since the 2020’s began, however, there is only the Take-out option; no dine-in.
A word of caution: be careful to park legally on the street; I’ve gotten a couple of parking tickets there over the years.“
