As someone who grew up with Cuban food and culture in South Florida, I can attest that this place has awful food. The subpar service didn't help either. The best thing about it was the courtyard, except for the pieces of the roof that were falling into our food. Never going there again!!
No photos of the food because i devoured it hehe for appetizer there was guacamole and plantain chips and chicharron de pollo. Both knocked my socks off main course whole fried fish with coconut rice and tostone. It was like a tropical dance party in my mouth?? and pollo cubano was very soft, almost too soft had flavor that carried it through. Our waiter was very nice keep in mind they dont serve alcohol so any mixed drinks you order will have to have byob alcohol. Lots of seating space a bit cramped on a busy saturday night but worth it.

We went on a Saturday night party of 8. We knew they didn’t take reservations so we we went earlier in the day to ask if seating at 6:30 would be possible. We were assured that it would be no issue. When we arrived we were told that they had two private parties and seating would be an issue. Fortunately they were able to seat us. Food was very good we had Churassco cooked perfectly and tender. The ropa vieja, best I’ve had in NJ. We also ordered shrimp and garlic that came to the table cold, an issue that was corrected. On the negative we were rushed through dinner and service wasn’t as we expected, they brought out take out containers for leftover while some in our party were still easting and the noise level was so high it was hard to have conversation at the table. Will come again when the weather is warmer and sit outdoors as this will make it a more pleasurable experience.
Top recommendation by me

Always love coming here the food is delicious and affordable, the atmosphere is lively, the decor is so pretty and the service is on point. Our server was Juan Camilo, he was so nice and very attentive. I got the lechon asado (roast pork) it was so tender and flavorful. Love that it’s BYOB, we got a pitcher of the passion fruit margarita and added alcohol, wow so yummy. Definitely recommend.

The place was not clean, my table was still dirty, and the plate on the table still had old food in it. The service was fine. The food was tasteless, not at all spiced like Cuban or Latin cuisine.

BYOB, bring your own drinks. The pitchers are perfect to add. This place was super fun on a Sunday! We had awesome food and amazing servers. The food was excellent and we just finished traveling our 12th country in 2 years.
If you’re looking for a nice environment and authentic food, here it is. yes everyone cooks differently, but it was really delicious.
Parking: This is a city area, it will not be easy if you are going on the weekend.

The place is really nice, the decoration, the art, but the food it’s disappointing. I did had lots of expectations because of
The food pictures and seeing other clients eating, I ordered a paella, when it came it had good look, but the flavor was not good. Lack of flavor. I hope other plates would be better but I’m not going to come back for check that

We loved that it’s a BYOB so we were ready with drinks in hand. It was three of us and we started off with three tapas. The papa rellenas, platanos rellenos and masita de cerdo. We only got two papa rellenas for three people. Would’ve been nice to have the option to pay for a third but it was fine. They were the size of a golf ball but it was flavorful. The platanos rellenos we did get three and they were a little bigger. Perfect bites. The masita de cerdo was perfectly cooked. We eat like pigeons so we ordered a churrasco meal and a salad with sliced avocado. Perfect sized entree to share and top off our appetite. I can see where someone with a big appetite can stay hungry but they are serving normal portions proportionate with the price. If you need more food order something in addition to what you want. The tapas menu is extensive and I still want to try the rest.

Came here for my Mom's birthday last night and it was fantastic! Food was great, especially the coconut rice and sweet plantains which were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. Our server Carlos made the experience special and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and wanted. Thanks, Carlos!

It's great to go in a big group, I personally would recommend bringing an infant. Bathroom is tight for a stroller, if you are placed with your party and another and someone has a birthday, they do not take to consideration that there is a newborn. Had to pause them, exit with stroller and wait until drumming was over. Otherwise great staff, Great Food, you will love it. Depends on the waiter you get.

Went last night and was beyond underwhelmed. I received my food about 10 minutes after ordering it. It came out with the rice ice cold chicken and plantain were less than Luke warm and was missing the beans. Waited another 10 minutes to tell the waiter my now completely ice cold food was cold. He brought it back to me after nuking it the microwave 2 minutes later with the missing beans. Why would anyone want microwaved food? Especially plantain! Needless to say the chicken was rubbery the plantain was awful…it was all awful. First time there - they don’t have to worry about me coming back. How does this place get good ratings? How do you not remake the plate? Why not because obviously they gave me someone’s food that was sent back! Totally re and recycled food!
