The place has the best ramen I have ever tasted. I have never liked soup but this place has made me like it. It is now my favorite food. If I had to give it my honest rating I would give it a 10/10.šŸœ ~Streeter 9y/o

Amazing place for ramen and other great treats! Great atmosphere and the staff is so nice and friendly. Bring a group of friends and have a great time kicking back. The vibes are top tier over here.

I came around late noon. Everything looks good. Not crowded at all. Service is good. The only one thing is the noodle quality.
Don’t get me wrong. It is good noodle place. But when the noodle mix with spicy oil. It is kinda risky. The soup base i felt it’s a little bit thick. Spicy powder can always be a good choice.

This place is legit! I get takeout from here often and have dined in a handful of times, and I’m always impressed by this place.
The food is authentic and made in-house, all the ingredients are fresh and what I love most is the open kitchen as you can see them preparing your food in the back.
Whether you are dining in or taking out, I recommend this place for some delicious ramen, authentic katsu and curry, and tasty appetizers and drinks.

You wouldn’t think this quaint restaurant would carry some of the best ramen in the state, but I would give it my vote. After a couple trips to Tokyo I have not been fully satiated until I wandered in here on a random weeknight for dinner.

I’ll be back plenty

Ramen was ok, a little lacking depth of flavor. Chicken nuggets were quite tough.
Service was kind and friendly, but the cook’s alarm clock was a major distraction. Really unbearable at times.

After months of language school in Japan, I was looking to get a good replacement to my favorite dishes in the US. I tried everything from local ramen places to Ichiran and didn’t ever taste the same. Until now. I lost all my hope in finding the perfect equivalent of the original ramen until today when I went to Fujiya. Not only the service was good, all of the meals I ordered tasted authentic, and just- really delicious.

The spicy pork special ramen stacks up to great ramen I had in Japan last summer. This place also makes an excellent curry chicken and rice (also spicy). The servers are kind and friendly.. One of the few places left in Monclair where you can still get quality food at a affordable price..

Went here for some Ramen. It was a pleasant experience, however I'd probably try other Ramen spots in the area before coming back. I had the chashu and my fiancƩ had the tonkotsu. We shared the pork buns which were good, however the Ramen wasn't the best. It wasn't bad but, I've had top tier Ramen before so this fell short. The pork was sliced really thin, and was overcooked which made it tough. My broth was okay, I liked the noodles a lot. The tonkotsu broth was a bit bland and lacked any depth, even after mixing as they suggested.
