I visited La Rocca Osteria in Montclair, NJ, with a party of four on a Wednesday evening. We were walk-ins and were pleasantly surprised to be seated right away.

The restaurant has a lovely ambiance—cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed dinner. The staff was very friendly and attentive, which added to the overall pleasant experience.

Food was outstanding! Halibut, pork chop, pasta, fig salad all superb. BYOB saves money. Service was friendly, and the guys replaced water and cleaned-up used plates frequently. But our waitress needed to come by more often, especially at end of night. Like too many resultants, we and the other couple have had a nice night, we are ready to leave after our coffee, and we don't see our server for what seems like forever so that we can pay and leave. Overall, highly recommend!

Tasty Italian restaurant with a great atmosphere. The calamari, along with marinara sauce was some of the best we’ve had. They serve in a bowl made of chips too, which we enjoyed.

The entrees were delicious, and the portions were more than generous. The lasagna rivals Isodi in NYC, if you know you know. So delicious. And the house made pappardelle special blew me away.
