The food here is so delicious I wanted to shout and tell everyone from the top of a mountain. So here I am on Google. You must try the empanadas that comes with the best green sauce. I have very high standards for sweets and I loved everything I tried here. My favorite being the Alfajores. My husband and I had a lovely date night here. The entrees were a perfect combination of fine dining with a whole lot of soul. I want all the success for Libelula.

Libelula is so special and my favorite spot in Montclair. Chefs Brian and Veruska are incredibly talented, warm, and friendly. It is clearly a labor of love to them and their food is exquisite. I've enjoyed many, many meals. The flavors are inspiring. It's always fresh and colorful. Quality ingredients. The mangu tres golpes is a staple brunch dish. The ceviche and avocado salad with yuca fries are so fun. The alfajor cookies are divine. I'm a big fan of the space: the plant-life, the sunlight peering into the windows, and their outdoor seating. You will not be disappointed!

I came here for dinner recently to celebrate a friends birthday. Not only was the server kind and attentive she was quick and efficient. The food was Super delicious. We split the octopus appetizer which was a mistake because it was so delicious I wanted my own. I could have licked the plate, I should have. This was the absolute best octopus dish I have ever had. It was perfectly tender with just the right amount of crispness from a plancha I assume. The sauces on the plate were mind blowing. I’m only slightly ashamed to say I dream about this dish. We also tried their mocktails which were really fun and creative. I even ordered a few items from the pastry case to take home. I was so stuffed but I could not fathom leaving without my mom and friend trying the alfajores. They were as thrilled as I was. I can’t wait to return for the holiday season to see what other delicious and beautiful dishes they come up with.

The bakery and restaurant are beautifully decorated and carefully curated. Food is super fresh and top notch - you can tell the owners pour their heart into it. We love saying hi to them whenever we come by for cookies (a family obsession now), and they couldn't be friendlier! It means a lot to us that a young and creative family has taken the risk on their dream near us and feels like an extension of home whenever we visit. Could not recommend Libelula more!

I went with my friend to study and the waitress were very rude as soon we walk in , talk to us with actitud and , then after 35 minute being there study the waitress came to
Us said we has to leave , and start clean the table with be there , brought all the coffee cold . This is not a place I will never come back
