This place has become one of my favorites after only one visit! The food, the service, and overall vibe was great. The food was just a mix of flavors, and you can see the influences through each dish. The bakery is great too - those Alfafor cookies were AMAZING. It is almost like they were made out of your dreams.

I’ve been dying to visit this spot and now that I finally have, it was beyond my high expectation. Food, atmosphere, and hospitality 10/10.
Props to the Chef and Baker! Best Dominican/Peruvian infused restaurant around.

Amazing food and service! Went there for brunch to celebrate a friend’s birthday and from the moment we walked in the one of the owners greeted us. He was so nice and checked in on us a few times and gave us a small back story on how his wife and himself opened up the place. Everyone is my group loved their food. It was authentic and had lots of flavor. The tres leches latte was amazing if you have a sweet tooth like me. Our waitress was also kind. We sat in the back patio which was nice and cozy. Will def be returning.

I am hesitant to share too much about this wonderful hidden gem in Montclair because I don’t want to have to wait in line for a table. That said, I can’t keep this bright light to myself. It is a ten. Authentic ambiance brought me right back to a recent trip to DR. The knowledgable staff happily navigated menu choices. The cortado was full-bodied but not overpowering and I only needed one to get the boost I was looking for. The steak sandwich with yuca fries was possibly the best sandwich I have ever had - aesthetically pleasing, the fired eggs rested on top of perfectly grilled steak with roasted peppers, the roll was kissed by a delicate sauce which offered a touch of sweetness to contrast the savory dish. Then, closing out the meal, chef and owner, Brian, came to the table to make sure we were enjoying our meals. Conversation came naturally as he shared a little bit of his story. His roots are in the DR and his wife, the pastry chef, is from Peru. Together they create a wonderful menu, infusing the best of their cultures and sharing it all with diners in Montclair. Go today and order with confidence. There is no wrong choice.

Everything was super fresh, tasty, and beautifully presented. The homemade sauces had just the right amount of flavor, not too spicy. Lots of fun dishes to pick from. Coffee was great too.
Service was great and the ambience is bright, modern and cute.
It was also lovely seeing the ladies making the empanadas.
Simply put, we had an exceptional late lunch at Libélula. In fact, the best meal we’ve had in Montclair! They were also very helpful in clarifying the menu to my daughter who has food allergies.
Hope to go back soon!

amazing customer service server was so sweet and food was plated amazing, will be back again when im in the area. thank you!
Today we celebrated my partners birthday and we had such an excellent time. The interior is so pleasing and inviting. We ordered the ceviche, which was delicious, the fish was fresh, the plate was gorgeous, just yum! It was paired with tostones, we ordered an extra side and it was a great pairing. The chimichurri burger was such a huge portion, folks were full! The la bandera was amazing, a great portion and delicious. Last but not least, the tres leches is the best I’ve had in a while!!!! The tres leches had the perfect amount of sweetness and the cake itself was so light. Overall, such a wonderful experience. The servers were so kind and accommodating, made us feel like regulars.

I was sad because I was hungry. I walked in, ordered the lomo saltado with a side of tostones for lunch. I ate and the sad face turned into a very happy face! Do yourself a favor and try this spot out. You won’t regret it!

Lovely restaurant and wasn’t too full when we went around 10:45am. I really enjoyed the black bean pupusas. My boyfriend got the steak sandwich and thought it was alright. Meat wasn’t what he was expecting for a rib-eye cut, it was a little thin. Friend ordered the chimichurri burger which he also thought was alright. He really liked the yucca fries. The guava spritz was also really good.

Came in for a quick dinner, 2 empanadas and a mocktail. I ordered a beef +plantain, and chicken +potato empanada. The chicken was the better of the two; moist and flavorful. The beef was ok, didn't get much plantain flavor tbh so it's easily overlooked. The highlight was probably the mocktail a guava fritz, strong and tart!
