Came here for an anniversary dinner. First, let me say that the food here was excellent. The braised cod was perfectly cooked. The Japanese Wagyu had an incredible marbling that it melted in your mouth. The sushi and sashimis were fresh. Everything we ordered from the drinks to the entrees were amazing. Morimoto is morimoto for a reason. The ambience was great— the Koi fish freely swimming on the big screen, the display of bonsai trees, and the music and lighting were...
We arrived at the restaurant and they proceeded a seat us next to a table of family with toddler children. The entire restaurant was still empty. We all felt that was a little bit weird. Anyone that arrives with children should have great service, but maybe they should put them in a more secluded area. Most of the food was rated pretty good except for the sushi tuna roll which had a lot of fatty grizzle in it. And that was very unusual cuz I've never had that in a spicy tuna...
Went to MM for dinner on a weekday evening to celebrate our anniversary. It was pouring outside but luckily the restaurant is right across from a covered parking garage.
