This place exceeded my expectations. My husband and I ate here last week. Our server was very helpful and guided us in the right direction. My husband had a turkey bacon, egg, and cheese on a bagel. Friendliest place in town. Family run, local place with homemade soups, flavored coffee, shakes, and breakfast all day. Greetings entering AND leaving. Local business folk, students, retirees, tradespeople - a true mix of Montclair. What dining used to be like before corporations. Huge choice of tasty cooking of expanded diner fare. Been around since 1923 for a reason. Try it!

It’s a downtown Montclair diner…menu with about 400 items to choose from. We moved our son into Montclair state and stopped in for lunch, he had the infinity burger (ate it all), I had the grilled Chix club and my wife had the California Chix club. We brought home half of ours plus have the fries - dinner that night!
