“Great sit down burger place. Burger was delicious and the fries a thinly sliced which I recommended over thick slices because you get to finish your meal and have room to breathe. 10/10 would go back again. I had the Hawaiian burger and it’s becoming my new favorite.“

“Ordered through GrubHub and my order was stolen. The hostess worked with me for the next 30 minutes trying to correct this mistake and even comped one of my items after they offered for one of their own drivers to deliver the remade order. Will definitely order with them again.“

Drinks were also great- I had the Cucumber Margarita with Don Julio & it was very refreshing on a hot summer day. Trendy atmosphere and cool murals. “Not all Bookakoos are created equal… and this Washington Street location is the overachiever of the family.

From the staff to the manager, everyone here is genuinely wonderful. You can tell they actually care about their customers—not just about moving burritos out the door. That alone already puts them ahead, but then there’s the food. My chicken bowl and burritos were delish: fresh ingredients, great flavor, and noticeably bigger portions than other locations (yes, I noticed and yes, I appreciated it).

We had a little hiccup with an Uber Eats order, but the manager and staff handled it l—extremely accommodating, kind, and quick to sort everything out without any attitude. That kind of service is rare these days.

I literally travel 30 minutes just to come to this specific Bookakoos on Washington Street, and I’ll happily keep doing it. Totally worth the drive, every time. I’ll definitely be back.
