“First time at Armandos and I really enjoyed their tortas and homemade horchata. Crunchy soft bread, good size and fresh. The lettuce was chopped which made it fall out but thats no issue- it left me feeling full and I got the tiramisu. Good balance on it and hit the spot for desert. Definitely coming back and especially to hear Andrea sing. There's good singers during karaoke but im not one of them lol“

“Very nice Mom & Pop place to enjoy some real authentic food. At the time when I went there, They was only accepting Cash and Zelle, Zelle was the easy option for me to pay, the staff was very nice and helped me out with some of the food I was not to familiar with. The place is small but in a great spot for the neighborhood on the corner, This place has an ATM and seating inside with a TV to watch whatever is playing while you eat. I been back twice and I had the crispy taco bowl with steak and one with shrimp and the Birria tacos 🌮 very good“

“This is a fantastic place for a quick and satisfying lunch, especially when you're working nearby. The flavors are truly excellent. While the quality is certainly evident in every bite, I did find the prices to be a little on the higher side. It's a great option if you're looking for a treat, though. I'd recommend it if you're willing to splurge a bit for a delicious meal.“

“We shared a GUACAMOLE with plantain chips. It was fresh and flavorful. I had the FAROE ISLAND SALMON. The salmon was flavorful and well done on the outside and moist on the inside. My husband enjoyed his medium CHURRASCO 14OZ. The drinks were strong 💪. I recommend this place. I enjoyed the old school salsa music.“

“Solid breakfast burritos and great tortillas, which are like gold here. I haven’t tried anything else on the menu yet, but it’s just a matter of time - the salads look awesome. I moved here from Texas a year ago and love everything about the city (except for the rent), but I do miss Tex Mex and good tortillas. New Mexican is its own cuisine and sure hits the spot while also being healthier, and those tortillas are a game changer. So glad to have found this place, just had breakfast from here, and am already looking forward to going back.“

“Eggstravagenza is such a great food truck spot outside QBK Sports! We always stop by after volleyball drop-ins, and it never disappoints. The wraps—especially the avocado and California wraps hit the spot. Perfect post-game food. Simple, quick, and really good. Definitely a go-to if you’re in the area!“

“We were in the area and got a 6:30pm reservation 30 mins in advance on Open Table. Despite being a last-minute reservation and being dressed on the casual side, the hostess greeted us like we were her favorite customers! Cocktails were interesting, nuanced and delicious. They were well-priced for the quality. The house- made tortilla chips were outstanding, and paired with the guacamole with black garlic and mango salsa- yummmmm. Amazing. I had hamachi tacos on blue corn tortillas. The fish was perfectly cooked, the presentation was beautiful, and the flavors fresh and delightful. Portion size was just right. This was the last restaurant meal of our NYC trip and it was an unexpected gem. Try it. You won’t be disappointed!“

“Mi amigos! This place is awesome. Went to La Contenta first but they were packed but luckily Vallarta had some spots at the bar and everything was incredible.

Tacos pescado and Tacos carne asada! Woo. I preferred the carne asada but both made me feel like I was back in mexico. All the micheladas and cocktails we had were incredible. The happy hour too is off the chain. Great prices and great service.

I can’t wait to go back and try more. The nachos were also muy rico.

“We were in town for a wedding, and this was the place where they hosted a pre-wedding celebration. The atmosphere was exciting, and regardless of the large crowd, the servers did an amazing job. Everyone had such an amazing and memorable time.“

“Great addition to the bar scene on Bell Blvd. Food options were great and drinks were even better, they always some great happy hour deals on both! They also do game day specials, the manager was very informative and the staff was very attentive. Highly recommend for group outtings.“

“This spot is similar to Chipotle in terms of cuisine and concept. You can pick a bowl, burrito, or tacos and add whatever fixings you want. I got the Pollo Asado Bowl and added tater tots to try. Everything else was pretty standard - white rice, beans, chicken, salsa, etc. I like their sauce options to top off the bowl. I believe I got a Cilantro one in addition to sour cream. Surprisingly, I really enjoyed the beans and tater tots in my bowl! Would def add again next time I visit.
