Wanted to sit outdoors ( July) it’s beautiful out there, but the musicians play extremely loud that you can’t hear anything!! It’s not enjoyable at all so inside we moved. Dining music should be low , not screaming rock.
Been going to pub 199 for years and for the first time I have to say the Qualtiy has dropped off tremulously. Clams don’t taste the same . King crab has jumped to 90 bucks plus clams no longer included in deal. End of an era
went here with a group of friends and had a pretty good time. the place definitely has that classic local pub feel and doesn't try to be anything fancy. portions were huge, honestly bigger than expected, and the prices felt pretty reasonable. steak was cooked well and the seafood was surprisingly good too. service was friendly and efficient, even though the place was packed. it can get pretty loud during busy hours, but that's kind of part of the atmosphere. overall...
