I am from GA and I am out of town for a week . My 3rd time visiting tonight(a Saturday) , I had to send back my shit because it did not taste like the actual liquor. The second time my waiter bought me another shot since I didn’t take my whole shot , just sipped it . The second one tasted the exact way but my waiter never came back around to discuss. I paid and left because I didn’t want to be difficult. I still left a nice tip , customer service and food is great ! If you go on a Saturday night , check your liquor!

We love MJs so sad our Tinton Fall closed but Mary and I (Resurfaced) played an awesome show at the great Neptune location to a packed crowd. Bar was wrap around big!!! Bartender and wait staff were awesome, we will be there again soon. The salmon was best I had in a long time, an amazing smoked crust broccoli and mash wow loved it. Can’t wait to go again soon.

We had Brianna as our server and she was amazing! She was on top of everything, after we put in our food she repeated everything back to us and made sure it was correct. She was also very patient with us which was really helpful with our elderly family member. Our food also came out pretty fast and we were a party of 6.

I cant speak to the food or service because I didnt stay long enough to eat or be served. They have live music at this location, which is fine, but it was so obnoxiously loud and ear piercing when I walked in, I couldnt even hear myself think. It was so loud I couldnt imagine staying there and eating for any period time. How do you sit down and talk to anyone? This was at night btw but not late late.

Used to be so good and used to come all the time, but today’s experience really disappointed. Had to wait 5 minutes for the host to acknowledge me, for a pickup order, when everyone’s seated and no phone ringing, and turns out she didn’t put my order after a 40 minutes wait!! Simple 1 large pizza! Then asks me if I can’t wait an extra 20 minutes and asks me 3 times what I got!! Had to walk out bc it’s really not that hard to take an order, and I understand tech issues might happen but then proceed to blame me for calling the wrong store when I repeated the number to her and verified, really rubbed off and how she judged me that I couldn’t wait. Didn’t even offer compensation or apologize.

Giving it one star for the person who took my to go order, because she was very pleasant. What happened to the food? The burger I had was so salty, no onion, tomato or lettuce like it said on the menu. The only reason why I ate it was because I was starving.

Use to love this place the food is decent. Recently went here for Sunday night football and it took 12 mins for anyone to even greet me. Don’t wanna say it was because I’m a person of color but sure felt like it. Staff was rude. Doubt I’ll be back!!

MJ’s is always my favorite spot to go. The only downfall is it’s a little dark in there, but the food always comes out excellent, I got the honey Thai chili wrap on a spinach wrap, and it was phenomenal.
