R'Ortega's Grill & Bar LLC offers a great experience with knowledgeable servers and welcoming staff. The food, including Gluten Free pizza, is excellent and made with care. Dine-in service features a cozy ambiance and enjoyable music. Meals are large and cooked perfectly, such as the chicken parm bar pie. The restaurant serves very good, huge portions of delicious Italian dishes like gnocchi, sausage, veal parm, chicken francese, and soup, all made in house. The bread is amazing, and the prices are great for the quality and quantity of food. The restaurant has a whole other section with pizza and slices ready for sale, which guests may not notice at first. Visitors often find the food tasting like it’s made with love, and many plan to return when in the area. Despite some limited staff during busy times, the overall experience remains a classic NJ strip mall Italian gem with good value and tasty food.
