It's an alternative to the atrium, but the food isn't good. The vegetarian options are very limited and the 2 things they do serve aren't good. On a good day, you'll be out in 5 minutes, but typically you'll be waiting for a while. Everything is premade, so it's only getting warmed up. The best things they have are probably the pastries and canned/bottled drinks.
i havent even tried the food yet but i would just like to say.. the students come in like hounds all the time and the workers there can keep up with the pace!! they work super hard to feed hungry and tired bellies. Thank you!!!
As a freshman who is already tired of the dining hall food, Cafe West is my go-to for food that accepts meal swipes. I usually order the fig, prosciutto, and arugula sandwich toasted and its absolutely delicious. It’s a big serving (literally took me 30 minutes to eat) and you can also buy chips and drink (with maybe $1 extra) with the meal swipe.
