Food is good. The server had difficulty explaining the menu options and was confused by individual checks for a small group. She discharged people who did catch the mistakes. Probably 20 minutes and confusion surrounded ordering and paying. I would not normally mention this but the server has been there for years. Food is tasty! Bring cash.
we were so happy we found this restaurant before we went to see our play at the State theater. We started with the very fresh and tasty house salad. Then we ordered the special combination for two people for $95 that included five veggies, two beef, two chickens, two seafood, and one lamb dish along with injira. everything was absolutely delicious. And there is quite a bit to take home. Will definitely be back
Have gone for a variety of events: catching up with friends, family, dates, and take out. Ethiopian food is simply delicious and Dashen always gets it right. Vegans and vegetarians can definitely eat here comfortably. I have gone here since 2020 and they were more affordable then. There is a fee to share plates which I believe is a newer practice for them. Not a fan of it.
