I’ve tried many Ethiopian Restaurants in the tristate area, and Dashen has to be the best in the tristate. The flavors are so authentic and delicious. It’s always love at first bite. Even my kids like it. I also love that they serve Ayib, which you aren’t able to get at every Ethiopian restaurant. So many meat and veggie options outside of the basic stuff. It can get crowded on specific weekends but they are very accommodating. It’s pricey,...
Food is good. The server had difficulty explaining the menu options and was confused by individual checks for a small group. She discharged people who did catch the mistakes. Probably 20 minutes and confusion surrounded ordering and paying. I would not normally mention this but the server has been there for years. Food is tasty! Bring cash.
we were so happy we found this restaurant before we went to see our play at the State theater. We started with the very fresh and tasty house salad. Then we ordered the special combination for two people for $95 that included five veggies, two beef, two chickens, two seafood, and one lamb dish along with injira. everything was absolutely delicious. And there is quite a bit to take home. Will definitely be back
