we were so happy we found this restaurant before we went to see our play at the State theater. We started with the very fresh and tasty house salad. Then we ordered the special combination for two people for $95 that included five veggies, two beef, two chickens, two seafood, and one lamb dish along with injira. everything was absolutely delicious. And there is quite a bit to take home. Will definitely be back
Have gone for a variety of events: catching up with friends, family, dates, and take out. Ethiopian food is simply delicious and Dashen always gets it right. Vegans and vegetarians can definitely eat here comfortably. I have gone here since 2020 and they were more affordable then. There is a fee to share plates which I believe is a newer practice for them. Not a fan of it.
This Ethiopian restaurant is a hidden gem. The food was full of rich, authentic flavors, and the injera was perfect. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. I will definitely be coming back!
