Decent Tex-Mex in the heart of George Street. Guacamole was on point.

Go there for the vibe, food isn't that great. There are other places nearby who serve much better food.

Just Nat.

Way 2 crowded and loud. 20% tip was added automatically to the bill and they change extra fees for credit card. I would of left 20% anyway but felt that my choice was taken away from me. Reminder. Tip is not mandatory!!!!!.

Food is average. It's too loud inside because they play music super loudly even when people are less. So it's difficult to talk with friends.

Three tacos cost me $113 here. They charged a forced tip of 20% and also add on an additional charge for a credit card fee, isn't that illegal? The credit card fee plus a 20% tip on top of the 3 tacos charge, totaled $56.24. Ouch. But then the waitress billed this amount TWICE on my credit card. In order to dispute the duplicate charge, I have to cancel my card, wait for a new one in 1-2 weeks, and now I have to call all of my monthly recurring charges to give them my new credit card number. Fun.You would think they would total up their receipts at the end of the night and realize they billed me an extra $56, and then cancel the duplicate transaction. Nope, they just took the money.

The Fat Cactus is a good location for quality Mexican food. The dining area is family oriented, while the bar area has sports on and a nice music vibe.

Family lives this place. A bit out of the way for us but worth the trouble. It can get crazy busy so make reservations if you are on a schedule.

Very happy we stumbled across this place on our way to the comedy show. I had the chicken flautas. The chips and salsa were perfect too. The waitress was very attentive.

The place is just fun to eat at; great lighting, fun decorations. All our food was great, and the create your own taco menu was AWESOME! Prices were very reasonable as well, and staff was on point. (Went here before a show at the State Theater)

I recently visited this restaurant and had a mixed experience with the food. The chimichurri steak I ordered was overwhelmingly salty, which overpowered the natural flavor of the meat. I also tried the wonton, but found it to be quite bland and lacking in taste. On a positive note, the complimentary salsa was exceptional and definitely the highlight of my meal. The ghost pepper sauce was also impressive, ranking as my second favorite. However, I was disappointed with the pineapple habanero guacamole, as it lacked any discernible pepper flavor and seemed to be simply a mixture of crushed avocado and pineapple. While the food was hit-or-miss, I would still recommend this place for its drinks and ambiance. The atmosphere was pleasant and inviting, making it a great spot to unwind and socialize. Overall, if you're looking for a place to enjoy a few drinks with friends, this restaurant is worth considering, but be prepared for inconsistencies in the quality of the food.Parking: Found paid parking for $3.50 an hour. Street parking is nearly impossible to find during the weekends.
