Great little spot. The combination of the hot tea, lofi beats, and the rain outside led to quite the atmosphere and vibe. I tasted the chai as well, and it had a very authentic and hearty flavor, it was quality. The roll up omelette was super tasty, great flavor combo. Cookie to finish it up was a great lightly sweet snack to finish it off. Definitely will be coming back here.

Khyber - a mountain pass that links Afghanistan and Pakistan Me: do you want to visit a new tea place for some chai tea? Son: you really shouldn't say chai tea. Chai means tea so what you're really saying is tea tea. Me: I did not know that. Son: you should read up the history of chai. Me: I don't need to, I have you to tell me these fun facts. Always willing to support new local businesses in my area, I was excited for some hot chai. A pot for 2 yields about 6-7 little cups ($10). And what is tea without some delectable little sweet treats. Everything on display had me wanting to try them all but we settled on a...croissant, home-made cream roll, Ras Malai Tres Leches, and Shireen's Cookie. I'm more of a tea lover than a coffee drinker. Chai is supposed to be sweet, milky and slightly spicy. This is probably one of the BEST CHAI I HAVE EVER HAD. The tea flavor came through nice and strong. The spice was out of this world amazing, good enough for royalty. I can't really put my finger on it but there is something in this particular chai that is different than most. All the treats were not overly sweet which is how I like it. My fave would be the home-made cream puff. The cream was super light and complemented the pastry shell well. The croissant was a fave from my other two companions. It's not as flaky as a French croissant, it's more dense but in a good way. Service was lovely. Interior inviting and clean. As I am writing this review, I found out on IG that Khyber won BEST CHAI AWARD at the 2023 Halal Food Festival.

For someone born and raised in Mumbai, this place was a pleasant surprise. I was looking for some Hot Chai and wasn't expecting much. Saw Chicken Patties in the menu and ordered it off on a whim. Oh man this was Bombay on a plate; that and the Samosas and also, that chai; was AUTHENTIC...the kind of snacks I ate back at home in India.

They didn’t allow an emotional support dog because it’s a “restaurant”. But they said I can wait in line with my dog, order and leave but I couldn’t order and sit down with the dog. So they want my business while I’m holding the dog, ordering and leaving but won’t allow me to sit down with my dog after I order…make it make sense. They lost a good customer - never again.

Came here on a weekday afternoon and it was packed! I had a mango peach refresher which I enjoyed - I was little surprised that it was carbonated. My friends said their Chai tea and coffees were good as well. They also have some food/snacks here. I would go back to try some of their other drinks for sure! This is a nice hang out spot though probably too crowded and noisy for studying.

Cute little cafe with wonderful ambiance, and good service. The chai (milk tea) was fantastic and had a nice aroma. The cream roll was lacking enough cream, wouldn't get it again. The "rasmalai tres leches" cake was my favorite, frosting was delicious and cake was moist. Would definitely visit again!

Just found this place a few weeks ago and it’s quickly become my favorite cafe in new brunswick! Great food, great calming atmosphere and decor style, plus the drinks are great! A really fun and unique mix of a classic cafe with middle eastern influence from the owners. GREAT spot for lunch or a midday

I absolutely loved my time at Khyber. If you just want a place to study or just catch up with a friend. Or just need a delicious chai tea or coffee. This is a must try place. I tried the chicken patty and absolutely loved. They also have a lactose free option for all my lactose peeps. Vibes are elite and chill.

The iced chai with cold foam is heavenly!!! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. If you're in the New Brunswick area check it out. You won't be disappointed!!!!

The tea pot was great but the foods are a greasy mess. My husband got sick after having the croissant sandwich with a cured meat and provolone. The store is geared for grab and go cold drinks everything else is snail pace. I had to repeatedly ask for tres leches to go.
