Ok do we were here during homecoming weekend at Rutgers so everything was crowded. Had a reservation so got in fairly quickly. Everyone ordered different foods. Appetizers were ok…typical bar type. Entrees came. Large portions and none of us could eat all of our food. No one took the leftovers because honestly, the food was not that good. It was on the expensive side and honestly, not worth it.
I was at Old Man Rafferty’s for a repass dinner when a server accidentally spilled food on my partner’s shirt and jacket. The manager was kind, professional, and immediately took care of everything. They covered the dry cleaning, and when the stain didn’t come out of the shirt, they reimbursed us for the very same day I asked.\n\nAccidents happen, but what stood out was how quickly and graciously the manager resolved it. We arrived mid-afternoon on a weekday l was greeted immediately by the hostess and promptly by our waitress who was attentive and friendly without being overwhelming. Good beer selections (tap and bottle). I had a roasted chicken risotto which was very good. My wife was very happy with her linguine We shared a slice of one of their 3 chocolate cakes-yummy.
