I had surgery yesterday and I was so impressed by how beautiful the hospital is. For an older building it was very clean and beautiful. The pre-op staff were all amazing! Surgical staff were so caring and comforting. Post op was the best ever. Once in my room the RN’s were angels making sure I was comfortable and didn’t mind when I called for them. Two assistants that I had once in my room weren’t as nice, didn’t want to talk to me and seemed bothered when I needed to...

I hope I never have to go back...!! But if I do, I hope I get to experience all the wonderful caregivers! I was out of town on work and found myself admitted because of a bug bite gone wrong. From Dr. "B" and the amazing ER team, to Dr. Cathleen and my ID doc, the care was superb. Nurse Becca and Nurse Lizzie were awesome and Nurse Lauren (?) helped my get out just in time to make my flight home! Nobody works harder than the Nursing Assistants...Ms Dee!!! The 10 am prayer...

What a wonderful staff they have in the maternity ward. Just gave birth on Friday and these nurses have been truly incredible. They are attentive, friendly, great bedside manner and really good at what they do. They have made my experience here pleasant and easy. SO TO ALL THE FANTASTIC LADIES ON THE 4TH FLOOR AT SPUH, IF YOU CAN SEE THIS, THANK YOU!
