We have lived in the area for 20 years and have always wanted to come to Sanzari's. Not only was the food superb but the hospitality and ambiance also made our evening more enjoyable. Gus, our waiter, was so kind, helpful and made the dining experience worthwhile! Highly recommend coming here!!

This is the place you want to visit with your family and enjoy the original Italian jersey style food. I am so glad these places are still around and standing strong. The food and wine selection is great and fresh which is the reason I give 5 stars. The service is fenomenal. I love the portions sizes and their entrées. The price is perfect. I recommend to reserve your table during weekends. There is a parking area next to the restaurant. I would def recommend it to family en friends and comeback on my next trip. Great job.

Great spot! Josh and Liza their restaurant live entertainment on the weekend are awesome. We like live music and these guys are probably some of the best we've ever heard - especially in Bergen County. The food here is great. It's primarily Italian and it's a great value compared to other places in the area. The portions are huge. The bar is really nice. The bartenders Dan and June (?) are great.

I told you the restaurant this is for Valentine's Dinner, romantic and intimate. Having a loud party and unable to control these folks we found quite a distraction. You should have told us and we would have postponed or gone to the bar. Also, for my sauteed mushrooms you overdid them with the spices and salt by a lot as they are inedible. Your service is fine and high priced but that doesn't bother me as much as the food and unable to control the distractions. I'm not sure I will take my partner back to return.

Sanzari's is a gem! I've eaten there on many a occasion and I've never been disappointed. The ambience, especially in the bar room, is pleasant and lively in the best possible way! The service is top notch! Everyone from the hostess to the wait staff and servers are amazing, especially Mike and Auggie. And the food is consistently good. There's live music on Friday and Saturday nights. This is a perfect spot for a date night, birthday celebration or a night out with friends.

Came here after work on Valentine’s Day. First time. high expectations. Ambience nice. But was rushed thru dinner. Sat down ate my roll and before I even finished they took it away. Same thing w dinner. I was still eating ( chicken parm) took a break to converse w my date. And someone took my plate away. I said I was still eating but he took it away regardless. Then we waited 25 min before flagging someone down for the check ( we would have stayed for dessert but after 15 min of being ignored I gave up. Disappointing.
Don't be intimidated by the traffic that piles up around here, just give yourself extra time for accessing the restaurant & valet parking, it's worth it. I was recommended by our server to try the Sea Bass with roasted potatoes & mixed veggies. Excellent! Hubby had the pork chop, and he finished it, I couldn't. With the great meals we couldn't do dessert. Highly recommend coming during the week instead of weekends only.

Our waiter Gus was one of the most pleasant and knowledgeable waiters I have encountered in a long time. He made the dining experience one to remember. The food was excellent as well. Definitely a place I will return to dine!

My friend and I sat at the bar and had dinner. The place has a friendly atmosphere and gets a good crowd. I ordered the veal milanese and my friend ordered the orechete and sausage. Her dish looked delicious although I didn't try it. My dish was good. The veal was pounded very thin with a thin Crust on it. It just wasn't what I expected even though I read what it was on the menu. I would absolutely try New Bridge again but just a different dish. We didn't have any apps as we weren't that hungry but they do give you cheese, olives some nice Italian bread and olive oil with a roasted pepper puree. The service was great and attentive.
