The guys working here are polite and customer focused. However the food is not up to par. Ordered their personal size pizza...the pizza base was soggy and just lacked value for its money. This review is not about the comedy show as I have not experienced it.

Cute spot, had a quick Sunday breakfast here. The food was good, the only thing was they only had one girl working the entire spot. Poor lady was running from the counter to handle takeout orders to the kitchen to coordinate orders, to the tables to handle the seated guests, back to the counter, it was A LOT. I think she said her name was Oré. She was super sweet and held it down, but I felt bad she had to do all that. Overall, it was a nice casual spot to grab a bite. Might be better for takeout if it gets super busy.

I have tried the diner a handful of times, all being takeout. Two of the times I ordered on their website (which is linked to DoorDash) and quite frankly if you are going to do takeout, just order in store. The first time I ordered online, I was called that one of the items I ordered was not available and if I would like to substitute it for a selection of other options. I selected a different option, but then after I picked it up and got home, I noticed they charged me extra for the substitute. The difference was $1, which might sound silly to be complaining about that, but at the same time was it necessary to charge an extra $1 to the bill when the original item I actually wanted wasn't available? Also if the option you gave me wasn't a comparable price, then don't give it as an option. The other time, I ordered at 11:19am, got to the restaurant at 11:35am (noticed maybe 8 dine in guests) and then waited until 11:45am to then notice my order was just started because I was then notified another item I ordered online was not available and if I wanted to substitute. It's not particularly acceptable to me that after waiting nearly 30 minutes just to get my order started and then inform me they didn't have part of it. At this point I was really hungry and didn't want to wait so I requested a refund, but because I ordered online and it's linked through DoorDash, they told me they couldn't do anything and I'd have to contact DoorDash, so then I was stuck just getting a substitute. I was told "it's almost ready" which then turned into another 15 minutes. Also I'm not sure who is at fault if it's the restaurant or DoorDash, but it would be great if something could be done to update inventory when ordering to avoid issues like this. When they have the food you ordered in stock, it is good but not consistent. I've ordered some of the same items (like the home fries) and sometimes they have great flavor, sometimes bland. The sausage scrambler is probably the best item I've had so far, the buffalo chicken wrap tastes good but falls part almost instantly, so it's more so a buffalo chicken salad. Regarding service, there are two different ladies who are servers and work in the front of house who are always sweet, but it's almost always just one person I've seen in the front so they tend to get overwhelmed quickly.

The show was absolutely phenomenal. The Sunday Brunch comedy special is an amazing experience where you have an intimate setting, good food and a great atmosphere. If you are looking for a great time, it's a must that you go and thoroughly enjoy yourself.

It was all fine. I went on a Wednesday at noon so me and the person I was with was the were the only noise. The food was as expected for a diner in New Jersey (good in general). Our waiter was eager to help. Id go again
