I had a deliciously smooth latte, which was very well priced including two shots of espresso. I walked from the Prudential center, and it was definitely worth it. I’ll consider stopping by again next time I’m in town.

The store atmosphere is nearly perfect, except there is no place to place dirty dishes. I was told this is due to atmosphere, yet they have a wooden door.

The espresso is perfect, staff seems to be amazing, yet it is the little things that add up.

Amazing coffee shop for the city of Newark. Just an amazing atmosphere & ambiance located in the heart of Halsey Street. The cold brew coffee was bold and intense flavor. Great service, and comfortable seating.

Best cappuccino in Newark, hands down. Lovely little spot with great ambiance & warm communal feel.

Went to check the place while in the area. It was such a nice vibe, especially since it was small and quaint. There’s not much seating but a few seats at the bar, but they had a few tables right outside.

Loved my chai latte, and I got a mocha for on the go for my bf, and it was also really good. I saw a trainee make my drink, but I was very comforted by the (who I assume) owner or manager coach and guide the trainee. As a former barista hearing the right rationale to aerating milk, it made me trust the place even more to hear their reasoning and patience.

Great spot for on the go. Would definitely come back if I’m in the area.

The place is gorgeous. The design and photography the walls is great. It looks like an awesome place to chill and sip coffee for a while! I got two cappuccinos, a chocolate donut and three bagels. The food was yummy. I would have wanted about double of the cream cheese but it was still good. Also, I prefer stronger espresso in my cappuccino but it was still well made and went down smooth! I’d recommend this place if you’re in the area.

Went here and ordered a cortado. It was excessively small ( reference picture) for $4. I’ve always loved cortados and have went to multiple coffee shops where they are much bigger. This one was about the size of a listerine cap. Very disappointing and felt they should be upfront about their sizing esp given the cost. It was quiet and small coffee shop so I have the atmosphere 3 stars. Most likely won’t come back for small overpriced coffee.

Not sure what happened to this shop. The fall off is so bad and sad. Hope they can get better baristas and foster a more welcoming environment how it used to be.

amazing drinks (if they aren’t out of stock of something) and most of the workers are extremely kind don’t get me wrong, but they’re literally never open and have the most inconsistent business hours i’ve ever seen. also, i live above them and whenever they have social events the music is disturbingly loud, to the point where IVE gotten noise complaints from neighbors mistakenly thinking the music was coming from my apartment.
