About Casa d'Paco

Casa d'Paco is a charming restaurant located in a residential area, known for its meaty, simply cooked food that is not salty and comes in generous portions. The menu features an interesting array of tapas and large plates, including outstanding octopus on a bed of potatoes and delicious paella. Guests highly recommend trying the patatas bravas and jamón Serrano as well. The atmosphere is cozy and rustic, enhanced by superior service that goes above and beyond. The restaurant is popular, so making a reservation is advisable. While it may be a little hole-in-the-wall, the strong red wine and award-winning drinks, like the passionfruit drink and pisco sour, leave diners satisfied. Free bread and butter at the start adds a nice touch to the dining experience. The restaurant also includes a greenhouse dining area that creates a traditional Spanish environment. The Sangria is especially praised and considered one of the best parts of the visit. Casa d'Paco can accommodate many guests, and the staff is friendly and attentive, always ready to clear tables when diners finish. Although parking can be challenging, the $5 valet service is appreciated, and it is recommended to use it for convenience. However, some guests found the music too loud, making conversation difficult, and the valet service can be rude at times. Overall, Casa d'Paco offers delicious food, a cozy atmosphere, and a true Spanish vibe, making it a favorite spot for repeat visits.

If you're looking for authentic Spanish food in Newark, Casa d'Paco is the spot to go. Food is served tapas style. The dishes are super flavorful, ambiance is great, service super welcoming. Prime time could be hard to get a table since seats are limited but totally worth going. Sangria was a little on the sweeter side but still very very good. Will be back.

It was really crowded because of the soccer game when we got there so it was loud, but it was a fun crowd very welcoming. Had a 515 reservation and did not wait long. The food was delicious. The waiter was great and helped us with our choices and the cocktails were perfect. Make a great margarita.! this is my second trip and I will go back

Went there for the Spain vs Portugal World Cup match and it didn't disappoint! Great food, screen easily seen, and wonderful staff!!!!!
