We decided to give it a try after a couple of invites to see what the hype was about. A bit gimmicky. You walk through the Saison restaurant right next to gate 120 and enter through the blue door at the back. For an "upscale dining space" as United describes it, I shouldn't have to place my order via a QR code with barely there wait staff. Invitation only restaurant inside Saison near gate 120. Only seats about 30. Very nice, quiet, clean atmosphere. Order via QR code when you sit down. Didn’t like being asked for tip before any service done. Ordered French dip, chicken sandwich and sparkling water ($65 after 15% tip). French dip was good but not enough au jus. I never thought one of the best burgers I've had all year would be from Newark airport, yet here I am. Glad to have stopped in and look forward to coming back to this little hideaway in terminal C next time I'm back through.
