Egusi is served with stew but somehow still bland. Asked what type of swallow I wanted, just to disregard and give me reheated “instant” pounded yam anyway. Goat meat in the soup tasted old and gamey. Fried plantain that came with the jollof was cut so thick that it didn’t cook all the way through - just raw and oily 🤢. Pricey for what it was.
My partner and I visited this restaurant and the food was AMAZING. I have never had Nigerian food outside Nigeria so tasty before, the ayamase and the swallow were amazing! We will be back! The restaurant was also very communicative and attentive to our needs.
Was visiting NJ and hands down the best suya I’ve had in USA. Better than Ike’s cafe in Atl which I’ve had and was good. Reminded me of ikeja suya. Suya 10/10. I also got the Porridge yam Asaro 6/10 I like mine with less stew but they were really generous with their goat meat. Meat pie 5/10 tasted a day old. Overall great food and will reorder suya.
