I love a good double Italian hotdog and the best place to get one is here! They have the freshest bread and the food just tastes incredible! They are reasonably priced and give you good portions. The only bad thing is that it's a cash only kind of place, so make sure to bring cash. The next time I near this area, I will definitely be back. Highly recommend!
Dickie Dee’s is on many lists of the best Italian hot dogs in New Jersey for a reason.\n\nThey have been open since 1958 and not much has changed since then.\n\nThe hot dogs are well seasoned and have an appropriate crunch when you bite into them. The fried pepper and onions have the proper flavors to accompany the potatoes and the roll.\n\nThe staff is friendly and efficient.\n\nCash only
My father inlaw grew up in Newark and always talked about Dickie Dees. My wife and I traveled to New Jersey, and this was one of the first places we visited. They have awesome hot dogs with roast potatoes and gravy. It was a very rememberable day. We will definitely go back there again.
