The food was so delicious! Definitely felt all home made. My friend and I went here before a concert, and the owner was so adorable and welcoming. She treated us with love and lemonade, which was a 10/10. I actually bought a lemonade to go because I couldn't have enough of it. The restaurant is definitely a hidden gem and I will go here again when I visit NJ again.

Gourmet Lunch is amazing! Please go in to the door on the left "Gourmet". Maria makes the best food, and it is fresh every day. The menu changes depending on what she has, so you can call ahead if you would like to know. She usually has meat, chicken, 3 types of rice, plantains, vegetables, beans, and sometimes shrimp. I'm sure the side selections may change during the seasons. The meat is so tender, and the chicken so flavorful. Maria and group are so sweet and genuine too. I am happy to support this business, and so is my heart and stomach.

I stopped by, driving through town. I got a 6" cold beef and cheddar with a hot roasted almond latte. It was very good.

There's actually two spots here both have great options! I love the pernil that Maria makes, unlike most options for this in the area she always adds greens to the plate, this makes for a great well rounded meal. The medium is perfect for one person. Sometimes when I don't feel like cooking I'll order a large around 3 to take it home. It easily servers two!
