Everything is made with the finest ingredients. And would be super delicious, but they use so much salt. It gave me , a blood pressure 190/110/70 and my daughter a fierce headache. They need to use way less salt since you serve mostly my black community we are known for high blood pressure.

Almost every Newark native knows about this place , they've been around for at least 20-30 years .. and they are still standing ! I enjoy coming here for a good cup of soup when it's chilly outside. No frills and straight to the point. They used to do fried turkey wings but have stated they are NO longer going to offer those anymore. The customer service is great and quick but the line gets a little backed up from time to time so come early ! The average price is about $8 for a small and double that for a quart of soup, they do accept card payments now as well.
My issue is that the noodles from the chicken noodle soup have been extremely mushy lately so I laid off the soup for a few weeks and went back today and mushy noodles again :( will try again in a few weeks.

These soups are quite tasty! There's always a line outside, even when it's freezing outside in the thick of winter. Not just me, but I've noticed that people queue up for this soup nonstop, and they have a fantastic service system in place. A+

I have been coming here for over 15 years, sill the best soup around. Still fresh, very reasonable even after all these years. The only negative is you have to go early because they cant make enough delicious soup to feed everyone that comes by! If you haven't tried their soup you are missing out!
