This place is the hidden gem of Newark. Walk up only and there's always a line so make sure you know what you want when you get to the window! 😁 All time favorite is the cream of chicken. They're open until they run out and they open at 6am, I believe, so if you come at lunch time they're closed already. Follow on Facebook to see if they're open as some weekdays they are closed. Almost every Newark native knows about this place , they've been around for at least 20-30 years .. and they are still standing ! I enjoy coming here for a good cup of soup when it's chilly outside. No frills and straight to the point. They used to do fried turkey wings but have stated they are NO longer going to offer those anymore. These soups are quite tasty! There's always a line outside, even when it's freezing outside in the thick of winter. Not just me, but I've noticed that people queue up for this soup nonstop, and they have a fantastic service system in place. A+
