From the silent traveler to all of you welcome. So I just happen to be at the Penn station staying over at the DoubleTree One a slice of pizza they were the only thing open and close at the time. I will say the pizza is decent but just ask some reviews say get it extra heated. It helps with the flavor and the taste of the pizza. It's the only pizza place in the station and the immediate area. It's not my first, second or even third choice but it's just there. The slices are a little heavy on the dough and the cheese isn't the best quality but again they have the advantage of being the only pizza place in Newark Penn So you are a captive audience if you want pizza well waiting for a train
This pizza is pretty bad. The sauces tastes like ragu and the crust is flavorless. I know it's a train station but it's NJ the pizza should be at least decent. A mushroom slice is $5 which I wouldn't care if it was actually good and not so small. Agree with the other reviewers to ask for it well done or else you're lucky if it's even a little warm.Also agree with the other reviewers that they should really close this place up and put in like a queen's pizza or just something else....read full review
